We love this system! We had a local company with a basic package alarm system. 4 doors, smoke & carbon monoxide detectors. The company decided to upgrade system and told us we had to pay $99 to upgrade ours if we wanted it to work. I researched several alarm systems. Easy to set up. Works with our Alexa for bonus features. And no pay for them upgrades. I can add to the system as we go and do not have to pay more for the monitoring. And the monitoring fee is over $100 less a year than what we had with more features.

Easy set up, works great. Connected to Alex with no problems. The capability to add more components was a key factor for me.

I was looking for an easy to install alarm system with a lot of add-on components, as well as an app that does NOT require a service to use. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to install the Ring base station, keypad, and sensors, and configure each one. I've started researching cameras to add next. The app has a great deal of functionality, but navigation could be improved. Overall I have been happy with the purchase and performance over the last 12 months. The keypad battery lasted 8 months before charging.

My second Ring alarm that I bought for another location. Love the addition of the camera and the 2 gen is a nice improvement over the original that I have. You really can’t beat this for a very good alarm system at a fraction of the cost compared to the alarm companies. Sorry I love small business but the professional monitoring is a third of what they are charging and the one I was dealing with in Florida are outright thieves. And the monitoring in my experience is top rate.

The system is fairly simple to set up, the aesthetic is nice, and because I already had cameras in the house, the 8-Piece kit is exactly what I needed. I would expect the 4 contact-sensors, the hub, the dial pad, and MAYBE the motion detector from a standard kit. But getting the range-extender was a definite plus considering I have a Ring Doorbell and other devices which will benefit from having a signal being transmitted throughout the house a bit better.

Works great. Easy to install, no contract required, great customization on various alarm settings, sensitivities, and programs.

Have been trying to break from security companies for a while, decided to give ring a try and have not been disappointed. Super easy to install once you download the app. Went through a 30 day trail period before deciding to be monitored at only 10 dollars a month can’t beat the price. Set off the alarm to see the response call came immediately. Would recommend to anyone on the fence.

Replaced my old outdated system with this. It was a easy install and works well. The money it saves a month compared to a security service is over $50 for me.

Was super easy to set up & works as well as one would hope. Ended up buying more pieces & a camera later, and the install process for all of it is quite smooth. Only down side is the neighborhood portion of it where there's a community or Ring owners that share what's happening around your neighborhood. So instantly you become much more aware of what's happening around you and become much more paranoid... Ignorance is bliss sometimes...

Ended up purchasing this after I had an Arlo camera that I was told comes with free cloud recording for 7 days......the free part ends after a trial subscription. So comparing $3 a month for one camera, versus $10 a month or $100 dollars a year for multiple cameras with 60 days of recording the choice was simple.....and on top of recordings we have 24/7 monitoring of our home. I opted to buy some smoke/CO detectors that would mesh with the Ring alarm system. Money well spent. We also added the flood/freeze sensors. I’m not super technically advanced, maybe about average. Installation and set was easy. The hardware as well as the app are super user friendly and it’s simple to expand your system to whatever level of coverage you want. Bang for the buck and what you actually get for options are outstanding. Wasn’t planning on getting a system this big, but with the competitive pricing of add ons and ease of installation, it was an easy choice. Now our home has several cameras, we have the security that if someone did try and break in the siren would sound and if we were not home, local law enforcement would be dispatched. In addition, the built in cellular back up that costs nothing extra is real peace of mind. If power is down or we loose internet for whatever reason, the alarm and all sensors still work.....cameras would be down with internet or power loss, but the core of the security system along with flood sensors and smoke/co detectors would still operate. We plan on adding a few ring doorbells and maybe some additional cameras in the future. The only downside to the Ring system, is most of their cameras have a limited temperature range......where we live it gets extremely cold (-41 degrees Fahrenheit actual temp the other morning)......so we still have our hardwired outdoor camera system that’s rated to -40. It would be awesome if there was a way to integrate our existing hardwired cameras into the Ring system. Would highly recommend this if your looking for a reliable, easy to use security system that won’t candy an arm and a leg to have monitored.

This system is easy and works well, also merges well with any echo devices you have. Some folks complain about no glass breakage sensors, that is covered by echo devices which listen for glass break or smoke alarm sounding. Works with cell if power goes out at your house for up to 24 hrs. Makes me & wife feels better when home or gone. Ring monitors for $100 per year. Great system!

Mixed reviews on this product. Installation was very easy, however one of the sensors kept killing the batteries so I had to replace it. Programing is fairly simple but the verdict is still out with the keypad.

Honestly this is the best thing I’ve ever put my money into. I love it ! The doorbell is great the system is great! I feel safe and well protected knowing that if anything triggers my doors it’s going to sound and ring monitoring center is going to call and dispatch someone right away

So far so good. I really like my Ring security system. Installing it was a breeze…the app practically did everything for me. Please note that when you purchase a kit like this the install wants every part turned on and installed. For example I didn’t want the motion sensor, but it came with the kit and the install wasn’t complete until I turned it on. It’s sitting in a blackout box so that it won’t set off (plus I turned off all its alerts so hopefully no mis-fires).

I made the switch from ADT Pulse. I was paying $60+ monthly for monitoring ($700+ yearly). I purchased some add on components (smoke, CO2, additional siren, and motion sensor. I already have Ring cameras so the $100 year fee is a great deal for monitoring. Bottom line.., easy to set up, fully functional, and the monitoring is a fraction of the cost. For someone like me, this pays for it's self in less than a year.

Easy to use. Only issue I had is with battery life and charging on the keypad. Otherwise Perfect
