Ring Battery Doorbell

I find it weird that it requires the battery even if hard wired to the house, but the battery does last. Pretty long time. I previously had the pro, but it stopped working...this 1 seems equal to what I got with that 1 for less the price and i like that its not a plastic button to press to ring the doorbell.

Great connected doorbell

I added the solar panel back plate to extend the battery life. I do keep a second battery charged so there is no downtime when the battery needs charging. Easy to connect to the home WiFi. Video and Audio is suprisingly clear. I highly recommend.

Ring Doorbell Plus

The first one was relocated to back door. The ring units are easy to install and connect to wifi. Video is of high quality and battery charge last a long time. I have a spare battery ready to change when needed. The charge does take a little longer that I thought, but does last.

Ring-Battery door bell plus smart WiFi video

I purchased a rental friendly mount for the door so I didn’t actually mount it on a wall. Easy to charge and quality of video is great.

Solid purchase tho, you wont regret it since the basic features serve the intended purpose.

Much improved version of the Ring Doorbell

It is definitely a worthy upgrade. Two main reasons why it is better: 1) Battery can be removed (and replaced with a charged spare battery) for recharging rather than having to detach the entire unit for charging; and 2) the camera is much better, in particular with an option to see a wider field of view.
