Needed to help use ring better and enjoy Reeally helped my whole system

happy with my purchase was very easy to set up. It worked for exactly what I needed to work for.

Easy to install, connected in seconds paired with cameras and the night light is great.

Easy install. Connected to my ring easy. Love the different songs it comes with.

Easy setup. Great wifi extension for the Ring equipment. Note: once you plug in the Chime Pro you must WAIT. The device will look like it isn’t doing anything, but it is. You’ll have to wait about 4-5 minutes before the lights will come on. You’ll also need to do this any time you unplug and plug it in again. It can also double as a nightlight or a hallway light.

Very easy to set up and use. Had to get the volume adjusted then everything was great.

The nightlight and wifi extender was a plus and you can hear the chim throughout the house

We live in a brick home with thick walls and yes you can buy other wifi extenders but I wanted to stay with the Ring family. So far I'm pleased with this item. Seems to do it's job. Mind has a night light which is handy and different voice or noise setting which we picked the barking dogs. I've bought a second one to set up outside in our work shed area. I'll let you know how that works out.

It was easy to set this item up using the app. It has a pretty cool assortment of sounds that can be used when motion is detected or presses the doorbell button. However, it is not very loud even at max volume. Nowhere near as loud as a real doorbell would be. If it is in the same room as a TV, the Chime can easily be drowned out by an action movie or a football game unless you are sitting right next to it. Still, it is a nice addition to the Ring doorbell. I just wish that it was louder.

Easy to install, works well and can hear it from anywhere in our home.

It was easy to install and is positioned so it is easily monitored. I didn't expect the choices for the actual chime and was pleased that I was able to install one that my dog recognizes and acknowledges the bell has rung. It can't be heard upstairs but the ring app lets us know if someone is outside.

Excellent purchase. I had no problem installing it and it works well with my other systems. I recommend it.

If your ring camera is not close to your Internet source, you need one of these! I have a couple of ring cameras around my home, and the one in the garage was a little sporadic until I got the chime. Now the video and sound as much better and more reliable.

The Ring Chime Pro is designed to work with your ring devices to enhance their sounds and internet signals. It can be programmed to play various sounds when motion is detected. This device may not be required in your home if you have a strong WIFI connection. The chime pro has an optional nightlight that can be enabled from your phone. The nightlight shines on the floor.

There is a lot of lag when you're trying to configure the device. It seems to take forever for setting changes to take effect. In the app you can't preview all the chime sounds either, and if the phone falls asleep while you're waiting for the Chime to update, when you unlock the phone you get a garbled screen with overlapping options. The Chime isn't super loud and there's considerable delay between button press on my hardwired Ring Doorbell Pro; enough delay that the Chime Pro rings right AFTER my phone dings at me. The device itself is very wide, and covers parts of the neighboring outlets when installed in a 2-gang box. The plug on the back can't be rotated or un-clipped and re-clipped so if your outlets are installed per NEC recommendations with the ground plug on top, you will end up with an upside-down chime. This is mainly an issue because the bottom of the unit isn't as well assembled as the top, and now I have a super bright, non-dimmable, upward-facing night light. I also didn't see a way for the night light to only come on at night, so I just disabled it entirely. As a range-extender i guess it's functionally fine. I don't really need a range extended though, I have a really good and fast WiFi network set up in our home for IOT devices. I probably could have bought the older Chime model but I thought there would be some enhancements given that they were calling this one a "Pro."

It works well. It was easy to install. I really like the nightlight feature.
