The features and technology provided by the Ring Pan-Tilt Indoor Cam are incredibly valuable and help provide you with peace of mind about your home security. We want to ensure your device is working as intended by providing you with solutions to resolve the concern you mentioned in your review.

It sounds like the device is not performing as expected. The Ring Pan-Tilt Indoor Cam is designed to return to a set "Home Position" after you exit Live View. When the camera doesn't stay in its set position, this could be related to calibration issues. The camera automatically calibrates when first set up, whenever it's powered on after being off, or when you change the Home Position. For proper calibration, Ring recommends ensuring there is 6.5 inches (16.5 cm) of clearance on all sides of the camera. If you're using it on a shelf or tabletop, place it away from edges to maintain stability during calibration or tilting movements. If you're experiencing issues with the camera not returning to its set position, you may need to recalibrate it by resetting the Home Position in the Ring app through: Menu → Devices → Your Pan-Tilt Indoor Cam → Device Settings → General Settings → Home Position.
