I needed a multi-outlet adapter with USB without being a floor strip and this provided plenty with 6+2 outlets. The other peculiar need was for it to plug into the bottom of the two wall outlets and not the top (top wall outlet doesn't hold plugs well), so again, it fit the bill and seemed best rated for price point. Powered and charging. This could go either way depending on your preference, but do note that because of the positioning of the outlets on the side, large adapters protrude further away from the wall and it all can look a bit overloaded and possibly weigh/tilt forward if using all 6 outlets, but at least they don't cover up other outlets on the strip.

I searched many places for a multi-outlet device that fits fairly flat against wall so plugs don't stick out & also has USB ports. This has 6 outlets (3 to each side) as well as 2 USB ports (on top). Plus it's a surge protector. Great compact, all in one device. Pricey but worth it when you consider all the functions in one.

I needed a surge protector outlet that was small and would fit behind my bed post and still give me access to plugs and usb ports etc. This little deal did the job. Would love to have a few more ports but other than that I am very happy camper.

While upgrading several components I was looking for a flat surge protector and a BB employee showed me this. Enough outlets for all my components and fits snug against the wall. Very Pleased!

I bought this as a gift for an IT person. He loves it because it is compact and fits into small spaces and allows for several items to charge at the same time. I'm going to get one for myself!

One of the three rocket fish products in my household. When you own as many electronics as I do, a premium surge protector is mandatory to protect my investment and this product does it all.

I got this to put in my existing outlet were my sound bar I'd pluged in, along with my wfyi extender I bought. It works well because of the both & you have multi positions to make things work for different directional plugs.

Great to have instead of using a power bar. The additiong of the usb places also made it really helpful. Biggest negative is I wish it plugged into both outlets not just one. Makes it less stable depending on your outlet.

I use this outlet beside by bed and it charges my phone and ipad. I can plug my lamp and clock and all is protected ( surge), no long cords to deal with, will buy a few more.

This unit provided the highest energy safety level (2100 J) I could find for under $40. Two USB ports and relatively thin profile to allow placement behind components.

I purchased this outlet extender to use in a 50-year old home that has fewer electric receptacles than I need. I'm very happy with the device overall, especially with the two USB ports that allow me to charge phones and tablets without having to additionally use charging blocks. In my old home, the original receptacles have been used so much that they don't hold the prongs on electrical cords very tightly. Although the RocketFish outlet extender is not heavy, the size of it tends to sag once cords and cables are attached. I think it would be greatly improved to have a screw-on feature that one could take off the outlet plate and secure the outlet extender so that it doesn't fall out of the receptacle when in use.

Bought for behind a TV mount, saves space, and allows for multiple things to be plugged in. Slim design does not obstruct the mount from being pushed back completely.

Provides protection for 6 outlets and 2 USB. 3 outlets on either side is helpful and remains relatively compact. Able to charge devices through USB ports.

I bought this because I have more than one guitar amp to plug into one outlet and wanted guaranteed coverage and surge protection. It is an added bonus that the surge protector also helps clean up humming type noises associated with unclean power. I like how the plug faces to the side instead of straight out. It keeps the large plugs from the amps from sticking straight out from the wall and is not clunky like a power strip. I have had an overall good experience with this product, but do wish that the middle had a screw to secure the surge protector to the wall.

I really like this item vs your traditional surge strips. It takes up less space and the dual USB ports are a great addition!

this is a very nice size protector holding 6 items as well as the usb ports, needed to use outside the US and working great!!

Nice unit, compact size with enough ports for a average home entertainment system. Would be perfect if it had a way to secure it over the outlet.

This is a great product, with an excellent design. It is slim enough to fit behind my wall mounted TV.
