Works as advertised although picture quality wasn't as good as I would expect. since phone screen stays powered on the entire time in use you might as well get the chromecast if your phone is capable of doing the screen mirroring which is in beta. It's a bit choppy depending on the phone, myself currently am using the Samsung note 4 and no issues really when streaming entire screen onto a 50 inch tv. Also not all devices are MHL friendly so won't work with many low end tablets or phones.

I'm so happy that this MHL HDTV adapter works in my Samsung Galaxy note 3 fine. I really like it. Bec what ever I would like to watch on my tv I can see it.these product is really good & worth it .thank u best buy.

Overall, I am satisfied with the Rocketfish MHL HDTV Adapter. It works properly and allows us to hook the tablet up to the TV and view what we want on a bigger screen. My only complaint is that the cable does come out easily, so we have to make sure it's not bumped at all or\therwise the connection is messed up.

cord is pretty short. other than that worked ok for watching movies on my tv from my phone

I connect my Note 3 to my television using this product, and it does make the connection. From time to time (say 3 or 4 times in an hour or watching), the connection appears to break, but reconnects in less than 5 seconds. It can be an annoyance, but only mildly detracts from the overall positive experience.

Works great with the galaxy s5 but upgraded to s6 and now doesn't work

Great for sharing pictures to TV so everyone can see bigger pictures than the little screen on the back of camera

Did not work with our Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 (7 inch) SM-T21xx tablet. I did get it to work on a Samsung Galaxy S-III smart phone but only with the adapter (that was included). Make sure to use a power supply. Since I needed it for our tablet, and it didn't work with it, I returned it to the store. The Best Buy customer service people were very helpful and understanding.

I got this as an open box item so it was cheap which makes the purchase worth it. I paid somewhere around $20 with a coupon. It comes in handy in tight binds when casting option aren't available. It needs a charger plugged in while using it. I wouldn't pay the sticker price of $50 or $60 for this thing tho. That seems over the top for something that probably costs $2 to make.

It's a good product to have around so you can show movies etc. on your TV. I wish I didn't have to plug it into a wall socket to use it, I'd like for it to use the battery power from the ipad/tablet/smartphone at times. Otherwise it's a good gadget to add to your collection.

Works great for some streaming services. Showtime and my local Cabke Compny's Live TV Apps don't allow viewing on this device....but there's more than enough to watch ,you just may not get to watch your favorites on a larger screen with this unit.

Product worked as it should. I used this to connect my phone to my car stereo. The cables allowed me to view videos and listen to audio from my phone. Used with Samsung Galaxy S3. Does not work with any newer models than this.

Plug hdmi cable in to it. Plug phone into other side. Flip to correct hdmi source and in seconds your phone is on your tv. Picture is crystal and no one could even guess we were watching the sec playoff game streaming from a phone.

This product is OK the only complaint I have is you're not able to charge your phone while using it or at least my model of my phone does not charge when plugged into power other than that I would recommend somebody to buy it

When looking for a device to throw my screen on the TV this worked perfectly. The video quality is great and there are no video issues I have encountered so far. I have been using this device for the last month and every time it works fine with no glitches. My only complaint is that it gets a bit annoying having to connect a power usb cable for this to work. However, I have been plugging this is to the usb port in the TV since its right next to the HDMI port I am using for this. Would be awesome if I didnt have to plug in the power. However, it does help the device not lose power too fast so its a bit mixed at times.

It definitely did what is was supposed to do. The only thing is your phone or tablet doesn't charge well when it's plugged into the adapter. But other than that the adapter serves it's purpose.

I used this to connect. My LG G3 to my tv. It passes thru my surround system first. The picture on the tv is clearly not as good as the picture on the phone screen. I guess a lot is lost thru the connection, or, I need to try going direct to the tv to see if that helps any.

It's an ok device...I only used it once since purchasing it...I don't like the fact that it doesn't charge your phone while plugged up...that's my only problem...

I don't know if it's my phone...or if it's the cable. But for some reason it didn't work with my ZTE ZMAX phone. But it works great with my husbands Samsung. Overall a cool product.

I purchased this for use with my Lg g3 however not compatible with my phone because I needed slimport for micro usb who new. But work great with my wife's Samsung Galaxy 5.
