Amazing clarity good microphone. I use it everyday, no feed back no major issues.

The microphone is used for pod-casting, in conjunction with other pieces of equipment. There is a good deal of noise with this mic, even though it's being used is a sound-treated room. For $25 it's not horrible, but when I buy a better mic, I will.

Bought this mic for hooking up to a pc and it works just fine.

This mic did not create a necessary sound level with volume control all the way up and I wanted to return it back to the store. Guess what: It is impossible. Mics are not returnable for customers' safety. Big surprise. So I was trying to avoid Best Buy for three years and will continue to do so.

I bought this to test an amplifier's mic jack., So I wasn't expecting much. It's terrific! It's supposed to be for vocal and spoken word. I found it works well for micing my electric acoustic guitar. It's a thin body guitar and isn't that loud. Until I get a preamp for the the built in pick-up I thought I might be able to augment it with this mic. It turns out it works great from about a foot away and pointed at the 12th fret. The only negative is there is a gray rubber band in a groove just above the mic cable connector that rolls right out as soon as you try to slide the mic into the stand. It's useless, throw it away! If you like the look, do like I did and paint the groove with aluminum silver paint, or any other color. Note: If you have 3-pin XLR mic jack on your amp or mixer replace the supplied mic cable with a regular (XLR-M to XLR-Female) cable you'll get an even better signal.

I lucked into catching this mic on sale for $14.99! I did the whole 'buy online - pick up in the store'. It couldn't have been easier. I picked up my mic, plugged it in and...nothing. I messed with the wire a little and got it to work. It had a short in the wire. It would cut in and out. Darn. The next day I went back to Best Buy and traded for another one. Success! I am very happy with this mic. I am only using it for home-recording and spying on my neighbors (just kidding). But so far I am more than pleased with this mic! It feels professional, it sounds professional and it just works great. If you are considering a cheap mic with great quality, get this mic...although your first one might be a dud. Good luck!

Good basic microphone for the price. The top cover screen eventually came off but it did not affect the sound. I taped it back on and it still works good.

I really liked it, I am using it to record my band and it is a great microphone for that. The sound qaulity could be a little bit better with the drums, it's a little trebbly, but it is a great microphone, and also it's great for it's price. If you're a garage band on a budget, this is your microphone!!!

We had two slightly less expensive models, but the cord connection to the microphone handle allowed the cable to be pulled causing feedback. The new model has a metal jacket around the connection, so is more solid. A lot of people handling the microphone tend to want to hold onto the cable so durability is a must. The sound pick up on this microphone is not quite as good as the less expensive mics that we had. It is ok as long as you sing into the top of the microphone head.

It may be unfair to compare this mic to the ones I traditionally use when producing video at work as they are much higher in quality. I assume they are much higher in price as well. However, this mic does require the user to speak directly into the top of the mic or the volume decreases dramatically. If used in a controlled location, with very little background noise, and the user speaks with volume, it is a descent microphone for the price. Otherwise, buzzing and background noise will detract from your results. For home video or school production type situations, it would be adequate and worth the price. I am selecting that I would recommend to a friend if the circumstances above applied.

I bought this microphone for my daughter who is interested in becoming a singer, and she wants to practice at home. She loves the mic and has used it extensively since her birthday. I think this is an excellent purchase if you do not want to spend hundreds in a music store.

big sound difference compared to my old generic mic. as people say "you get what you paid for " is right on the money

my son is an aspiring singer, he plugs into an amp and sings or pretends to be a radio broadcaster...lots of fun, so far very durable

The microphone just needs t be plugged into your system to bring out the karaoke start within you! Surprisingly loud volume with effective boom

I wish I had good things to say but I returned it due to inadequate sound quality.
