Runs incredibly fast although it does run hot but you are paying for this I would think you have a motherboard in the hi end range like this m.2 right here and they have heat sinks with thermal pads already included so there should be no worry there to stop you from buying this product I chose a 4tb because I upgraded from two 2TB 990 pros wich already are lightning fast the 9100 pro is a gen 5 and does run faster and 1 slot reads faster as well

This M.2 ssd is seriously fast and just top notch quality!

I used to own the 990 Pro 4TB, and this Gen 5 SSD is surprisingly cooler than the 990 Pro, especially the controller. The NAND is a bit warmer but still much cooler than the 990 Pro's controller. It's visibly faster when copying and booting from Windows. However, this drive unfortunately does not provide any improvement in Random 4K Read Q1T1 which is very important to real life use after Windows startup and during gaming.

Great storage capacity and amazing speed for gen 5 slots, make sure your motherboard has a gen 5 slot and you’re only using one nvme slot if you want full performance. At full speed this drive is insanely fast!

So I bought this to replace a 2 TB drive in my main computer, it was a 2 TB SSD Samsung 990 Pro, this drive is faster, but only if you have a 5 PCIe5.0 otherwise it will run at the lower speed like the 990 Pro. which I did and are running at the faster speed other than the increase cost per Tb I cannot complain at all extremely fast and so far, very dependable. Would recommend for anyone wanting a high-speed drive, as long as you have a 5 PCIe 5.0 slot

This SSD is on another level. I upgraded from a Gen 4 drive, and the speed difference is immediate. Windows boots in seconds, and my games load nearly instantly. It stays cool under pressure and hasn’t skipped a beat. The 4TB size gives me plenty of room for large video projects and my game library. If you want speed without compromise, this is it.

Can never go wrong with Samsung SSDs. Love tghe 4tb of storage at extreme speeds

Excellent read/write speeds compared to previous 990 pro. I noticed during high heavy application loads this has a roughly 8-15% chance of minor hitching/bottlenecking with a 13900k and 64gb ram at 6000mhz. Otherwise, simple read/write of files and application loads of everyday use is excellent! Great for 4k/8k video transfers. Price? Fair for the value, but always look out for the wonderful Best Buy sales.

The best and fastest M.2 SSD on the market. If you are doing any type of gaming or editing or heavy computing why get anything else than this M.2. Easily the best on the market. I load games that are 100-150GB in seconds with my rig.
