I bought this TV for college and couldn't be happier. Small enough to fit in any dorm or rather confined space, yet with big picture and sound qualities. I game often and screen delay is also minuscule when the setting are right. A really clear and crisp picture that can't be beaten for the price.

This appears to be the upgraded model from the 5205...now the 5500. After returning the 5205 due to buffering issues on streaming, I learned this 5500 has an upgraded processor that handles the display and SmartTV streaming separately, which definitely improved streaming.

bought this TV for my son for his dorm room and he loves it. perfect size and picture quality it great.

Whether watching hd tv, Netflix or playing video games, this tv has been perfect for the the dorm room.

TV was easy to install and setup. Was watching programming within minutes. The Picture is not as sharp as I would like it, but again, the quality is about as good as it can get for the price.

Picture-wise it's as perfect as the other Samsung TV's I've bought. Only factor keeping it from 5-stars is the sound, which is tinny. May have to connect external speakers at some point.

The image and sound are great on this TV. A small room and great entertainment.

This first smart tv, for me was easlier to set up than I expected. The remote lights up whenever I touch something so I see what I am going. Picture is very good. Only wish it had more glare protection from outside light, so I would not have to close my door or close curtains. I would recommend to everyone.

I bought this Samsung to replace a Sony HD TV. The picture and sound are much better on the Samsung.

This is our first smart TV, but being on a tight budget we were very pleased. Unlike comparably priced TVs, its audio out is better than average, but we still added a sound bar. My chief complaint is every time you turn off the TV, you have to turn on the sound bar again, necessitating two remotes. Since we use a TiVo, three remotes at my desk is annoying, but for quality and price, we will manage. It is also frustrating that the TiVo remote cannot change inputs, nor the smart TV control the TiVo unless I am missing something. It had one of our more important features, 3 HDMI outputs. Another issue, and it may be me, is accessing the optical sound output is very tough after it is VESA mounted. It also uses non-conventional screws for VESA mounting that are not supplied. Still, for all the complaints, it is a huge step up from our oCosmo combo that failed within a year. Great picture quality at a great price with many features. After over a month, we are very pleased!
