Video and audio are great. Easy to set up and operate. However, the Samsung Smart TV browser is a very basic Linux version with limited internet capabilities.

Resolution and picture on this TV are pretty great. Colors are very vivid and built in apps work good. The audio is good too. I own many Samsung products and have no complaints about any of them. They really do make one of the best TV's. Highly satisfied and would recommend this product.

This tv is clear and crisp when in apps. It's a great size for the room I needed it for. The only negative is while watching regular stations, the color fades.

I had purchased a cheaper Samsung from another store, but returned it to due to extremely poor sound quality. Although the 5500 also had tiny hidden speakers, I found the sound and picture to be great quality. It had the usual smart features. Liked the TV a lot! Only one problem - I require DLNA support. My 2 year old Samsung had it, some of the product reviews said the 5500 had it, and the salesman said it did too. All wrong. I called Samsung and they stated that they no longer support DLNA - in any model. For a top of the line TV, this is inexcusable. I've already returned it and am satisfied with a substitute 32" Visio, which is fully DLNA compatible (and $80 cheaper), despite the inferior picture quality. I'm extremely disappointed with Samsung and won't be buying their TV's anymore. They've lost a customer. I'm taking off two stars for lack of DLNA support. Oh well...

This was exactly what I needed for my bedroom. Streams video great and has a great picture.

Easy to set up and use with the Internet. Picture quality is great and receives wonderful 1080 HD pictures.

Recently installed for my stepmother. The hardest part was lugging away the old large screen CRT set she was tired of. Simple hook-up, good color, brightness and resolution.

Last March our neighbor's home was hit by lightning and it radiated over to our home and took out our bedroom TV, cable box, power strip, and cable line in our bedroom part of the house. I loved that old TV because it was also my alarm clock. Most TV's have a sleep timer, but our old TV allowed you to set the time for the TV to go off and it also had an On Timer that could be set to come on at a designated time. So, I had to do a lot of research to find another TV that had On and Off Timers. This Samsung has both. But they have improved on it. You can set the On and Off Timers to function 3 times a day. You also can select what days you want them to come on or off...and how loud you want the sound to be when it comes on. I still have my alarm clock. As for the reception and sound, this Samsung 1080p is as good as any other TV on the market for a 32 inch TV. But the extras on this Samsung make it a great buy.

Would buy another if I needed one at this time---Very nice picture, & I really like the smart TV features.
