Out of the box the biggest issue I have is the screen has a high-pitched whine sound if you lower the brightness past a certain level, so, the dimmer presets are a no-go on using for me and manually lowering brightness also starts the whine. I will be trying a workaround changing some settings on my graphics card on my PC itself. Every once and a while the screen turns off to black for a beat and then back on/ blinks, connections all seem fine, tested different hookups, checked all drivers, toyed with refresh rates, not sure the cause and such a long time between episodes that I just work around it. The 4k picture quality is basic to me. Glare can be bad if you position with the room light behind you/ screen facing it. I like having a remote to turn the monitor on. I like the screen size option. Mostly I am disappointed that this is what I spent my money on it feels overpriced to me personally. (paid about $570 on sale)

I’ve owned a lot of monitors over the years, but the Samsung Odyssey G7 is in a league of its own. The graphics on this thing are insane. The 240Hz refresh rate paired with the QHD resolution makes every frame look like it’s been handcrafted by an artist. Colors are rich and vivid, blacks are deep thanks to the VA panel, and the 1000R curve pulls you right into the action like you’re in a personal IMAX theater. I fired up Cyberpunk 2077 and literally had to pause just to appreciate how stunning the city looked—neon lights, reflections, shadows—it was all so crisp and immersive. Even simple games look incredible on this monitor. It’s not just for gaming either—watching 4K content on it feels like a cinematic experience. If you care about buttery-smooth gameplay and jaw-dropping visuals, the Odyssey G7 is worth every penny. Samsung really knocked it out of the park.

I’ve had a 27” 1080p monitor for YEARS and recently upgraded to this 32” 4k monitor. The picture is AMAZING! Recently bought Skyrim Anniversary Edition bundled with Special Edition. Playing this in 4k @ 144hz is B-E-A-UTIFUL!!!

Love this monitor, my grandson was blown away by it. Except my son-in-law broke the screen and didn’t tell anybody a month after we had it. So bummed.

I needed a 2nd monitor for work that would also work perfectly with my playstation. The Odyssey G7 has been perfect for both. The picture and refresh rate is awesome for gaming and it is a great size and great compatibility for work.

Bought open box and seems to be very good, like the built in speakers for when I don’t want to use headset. Haven’t used much of the smart tv of it but it seems cool

The picture is good, but the UI and menus are the quest I’ve ever dealt with. It sucks that I missed the return window.
