Open box didn't work

This is not a review of the monitor. I was about to buy it online when Best Buy's site showed an open box for $30 less so I bought that one and had it shipped. It did not work when it arrived. No text prompts showed on the screen as they should have when HDMI cables were unhooked. The monitor did nothing. Hooked it to two computers and nothing. The "condition" BB listed did not say it was repaired or refurbished, just an open box which means it was a straight return or a display item. Apparently, the monitor wasn't tested to see if it worked before reselling it. Waste of over two hours setting up, testing, troubleshooting, repacking, driving to a Best Buy to return and buy a new one. Try harder, Best Buy.

Great Monitor, but horrendous buttons

The screen is great, the cooler color mode seems nice.
But the menu button on the back to operate the on-screen display options is the worst, most annoying thing about it. I have to press it a 100 times different way to get it to do what I want.

Not so good. I was hoping for better. The price was excellent for being on sale but colors were wrong and had an overall yellow tint. It was so bad I thought there was a protective film on it. But no...I have other Samsung products and very happy. This one I had to return.

4K does not mean better image

This may be 4K, but text on the screen looks horrible. I highly recommend you get anything else. As a software engineer I do not recommend this monitor.

The backlight is too bright

I had to return this because it’s way too big for me. My desk might not be large/deep enough to accommodate such a large screen. Maybe this will work for you if you have the right desk size but for me, I had to return this because I couldn’t comfortably view it.

And bought the exact opposite. 1080p Samsung 24" freesync. It looks horrible to. I can't read a lot of the text. And don't tell me to update AMD yada yada or get a better Nvidia gtx acx GeForce card. I guess either the employees were really bad at helping and I tried like 8..... Most I had to research. But it is what it is...

Terrible. Two weeks after using it, the screen flickered. Not just when connected, not just a cable issue, but even when not connected it flickered. Sent it back to Samsung for repair (luckily it was still covered) and then two days after getting it back, it wouldn't turn on again - probably a power source failure? Wasted so much time unpacking and repacking it. Avoid this!

The HDMI2 port does not work, it flickers a lot. The rest is fine.

Contrast/black issues with screen looking washed out which is especially problematic when pairing with another monitor that doesn't suffer those issues. Probably should have returned it but will use it for some other purpose.
