The television completely went out after only 2 1/2 years of use. I did not get an extended warranty because Samsung has quality products and I never experienced an issue. An $800 television should last more than 2 years! In the middle of watching TV the screen turns lime green. I checked all the connections and all that did was create lime green and black stripes. Replacing the entire control board only gave me half picture half lime green stripes. Terrible television! I need a new TV and it won't be Samsung!

I am a long time fan of Samsung products. Again they hit this one out of the park. I bought two different sizes. Very happy.

Great definition and clear picture. So bright. It had been many years since I bought a television and so pleased with this one.

I had multiple 55' samsung ks8000 models delivered to my place. Each one consisted of dead pixels. If you buy a brand new car...do you take it with dents? No. The 55' samsung either the warehouse had a bad batch or its defective. Also while watching sports you can see a motion blur kind of lag. I would look at other options.

Perfect TV for gaming and movies. Did a lot of research on Samsung KS8000 and its perfect.

The 4K uhd picture makes you feel like you are part of the show/movie. It is amazing in every way and diffenatly worth the money.

Replaced my 50in Plasma TV with this 55in LED TV yesterday. First off, the setup was easy and it recognized my Verizon cable box with ease. Can't beat the $999 price. This is the cheapest I have seen for this TV since it was released. Not sure why people hate this remote, but I think it is awesome and easy to navigate, it even controls my cable box (the remote recognized my cable box automatically). Smart indeed !! Black levels are comparable to my Plasma. Colors are bright and doesn't appear washed out like in some other TVs. Not sure if the TV has an ambient light sensor, still figuring this out. The Standard picture setting is too bright for a dark room. Even the Movie setting was a tad too bright, so I have customized the display. Typing on the TV using remote up/down buttons is a pain. This is a fact regardless of TV brand. So, I use my Android phone which automatically connects to the TV and can play apps like Netflix, YouTube from my phone (when phone/TV are on the same WiFi). For the price, I am blown away by the TVs performance.

This tv had exceeded our expectations from the minute we turned it on. 4k streaming of netflix and Amazon Video is unbelievable.

I would recommend this tv for larger rooms and darker rooms. It also has all the most relevant modern features without big price

Great TV, excellent Colors, Excellent motion control. Wish blacks were a little deeper but overall a great TV for the price.

I have nothing negative to say about this product. I haven't used the smart features yet except for FB. Connections were easy.

I first bought this TV but upgraded to a 60" model. I think that it is a great TV but had the room on the wall to live large.

it is been 2 months since we bought this, picture is great.

I absolutely love my tv. It's all I need for satisfaction. I enjoy watching programs and being able to access Internet,etc
