Extremely fast hard drive. I had no issues formatting and have already loaded it with over 2TB of steam games; benchmarked at 5GB/s read and write but it’s in my secondary m.2 slot. My 980 pro gets the full 7.4TB/s in the primary slot so I have little doubt it’s just my motherboard bus limiting it but 5TB/s is absolutely more than fast enough for my usage

Got this on sale. Was going to geta newer Gen 5 NVME. But at this price couldn't resist. I can always trust Samsung devices. Speed is great and runs efficient.

Read and writes amazingly. 10/10 recommend. I bought two. My pc recognizes the two as one and it’s the best thing ever 8tb pool of memory.

5 Stars - A Best of the Best Buy. The Samsung 990 Pro NVMe SSD PCIe Gen 4 solid state memory cards are one of the top 3 choices for high quality SSD Drives or internal PC memory. Buy these when you can get them on sale from a US merchant like Best Buy. Be careful for counterfeit clones from overseas merchants at super low prices - they are trash.

Got this 4tb for my Rog Ally X to upgrade immediately and cant reccomend enough for a pc or the ally, the space it provides is amazing, can now take this while traveling and have all the games i need in 1 spot

I enjoy the storage size of this ssd. It definitely helps with storing games on and still have plenty of room to run all my other projects.

This is one of the only single-sided high performance laptop SSD on the market, so there is not a lot of other options. $269 seems to be a good value. Last year was $299 at thanksgiving. So far it runs ok.

I got this for my PC build to put all of my PC games on.

This is a great SSD with speeds near advertised. However, this was my second one. Be sure to check and make sure the stick is correct as soon as you get it. The first stick I got in the box was a 970 512gb when it was supposed to be the 990 4tb. This was an in-store pickup at that. Had this been a Christmas present, this would have been a disaster.
