    A great storage solution. If you want to make regular backups of all your data files, this is the way to go. I can't believe how much faster backing up to this is than backing up to an "old-fashioned" thumb drive. I've owned mine for a couple years; I bought this as a gift for my adult son.

    Good drive, but the accompanying software from Samsung that allows some really good encryption will not work on the the latest Apple Silicon Macs. Recommend reformatting with a APFS for Apple since the Samsung utility is useless now, but of course that will be without any type of encryption. So don't plan to keep sensitive files on it. One last thing, If you use on Apple Silicon Macs do not plug the drive directly in the Mac use a Dock or powered USB/Thunderbolt Hub. You ill get great performance. Appears Apple is lacking with good USB and Thunderbolt support for external drives.

    This was purchased as a backup for my music library that I've encoded over the last decade or so to move them from computer to computer. Copy and playback speed is fast, and there has been no sign of lagging or failure thus far! Appreciate the fact that this is lightweight and efficient. Highly recommend!

    I ordered this to use to backup up all my important items (like pictures, documents, contacts, etc.) on my new computer. It was highly recommended by our local computer repair guy. It was easy to use and did what it was intended to do. It took a bit longer than I expected but it still did what I needed it to.

    Can’t go wrong with this storage. Samsung is reliable. Compared it to the Sandisk extreme disk that looks more sturdy with its rubberized protection. But Samsung is more sturdy than you think. Biggest plus over sandisk... this one has a light that lets you know when it’ finished! Big plus in back ups.

    Transfer rate: Excellent. MP3 & MP4 transfer rate: Excellent. Video transfer rate: Excellent. Gaming or used for gaming storage: Intermediate. General file transfer from iPhone: Excellent. *During file transfer make sure not to move the cables too much.

    Great for MacBook users. You don’t need to spend your life savings on a MacBook with more storage. The most expensive one is 2TB and with a base MacBook and this is still thousands cheaper than buying a loaded memory MacBook

    Pretty solid on my ps5, you have to go through the eject process the right way otherwise it migh cause the ps5 to freeze but it’s pretty good
