Lets face it, Apple upchargers for their SSD and im too cheap to pay for it. In comes this beauty! I was able to launch the OS from an external drive ans saved myself 800 bucks. Ive had it for anout a month now and i havent had any issues! Love this - highly recommend.

It works great for me. I am not one that gets real technical about measuring speeds. All I know is it works faster than other drives I have. On sale it was a great price for a 2TB, others were much higher in price. Love the outer shell for durability in the event I need to take it with me and accidentally drop it.

Very fast. Life savior. I thought I had lost it all with the coffee spill but we were able to remove the HD and save files to this Samsung external drive without saving my files on someone else’s computer. I back up my new computer more often now. It is light weight. I am very pleased with this purchase.

This drive is fast, compact, and easy to use. It comes with both USB-A and USB-C cables so you can connect it to your system as long as you have an open port. It supports Mac and Windows and was pretty much just plug and play.

Love how small these are. Having 2 TB in such a small size is great for bringing along with a laptop. Plus, being solid state and USB C, makes for fast transfers.

My partner works in content creation for small businesses and has been working off HDD’s forever. I personally have been using internal and external SSD’s for a while and finally got her on the SSD wave. She’s extremely happy about the amount of storage and speed she is able to utilize. She is able to work Lightroom and Davinci projects directly from the drive with no hiccups. The T7 shield also provides her extra security from drops, which she was most worried about. Chose this over the Sandisk after their recent controversy with the Extreme Pro SSD issues. We’re extremely satisfied with the purchase.

Needed to get some extra storage for my XBOX Series X and this fit the bill. My house is fairly dusty so I wanted something that could handle that environment. It's small so it's easy to place out of sight.
Performance: Transferring games from the internal storage and from the 1TB expansion card to this drive I was getting between 214.26 and 226.41Gbps (Gigabits) which equates to 26.8 - 28.3 GBps (Gigabytes) with the games ranging between 500MB to 40GB.
So far pretty solid drive. Samsung always makes really good products, and this tiny drive is no exception

It took me a while to get it going for what I wanted it for, but that has nothing to do with the device itself, just Microsoft dropping support for non-cloud backups. Once I got it working it worked perfectly well. I don't leave it connected, just put it in for the new backup periodically.

The Samsung T7 Shield is a portable SSD drive that is ready to go with you whether you're hiking the trails or roaming the cubicles. The IP65 rated drive has a thick rubber jacket that can handle drops, dust and a splash or two. I like it because I don't have to worry about it getting banged up in my backpack.
Samsung rates this drive at 1000 Mbps write and 1050 Mbps and I achieved this using CrystalDiskMark. Using the Blackmagic Disk Speed Test I got approximately 850 reads and writes. For comparison - my laptop SSD gets about 3500 Mbps for both reads and writes.
The T7 ships with two cables, USB-C to USB-C and USB-A to USB-C. I did find that a USB-C cable I use with another drive didn’t work with the Samsung, I needed to use the enclosed cable. The drive worked as expected on my Windows PC, iMac as well as my iPad Pro.
The T7 includes software that lets you password encrypt the drive to protect your files if it gets misplaced.
I like the speed, versatility and three-year warranty of the Samsung T7 Shield. Yes, I would recommend this drive to a friend.
Good acceptable product. Look for more advanced vr

Remarkably good purchase open the door to my eyes as Samsung being an exceptional electronics company, rather than just boom boxes, TVS and other static products
It works efficiently although it's an older generation and it lives up to its speed standards and quality.
I've mentioned Samsung products before and different reviews across the Internet for companies And I've associated them with the quality of Sony at its peak which is truly a boast.
Reason I did not give this item 5 rating is that Samsung had faster chips available I've held the progress down a little bit possibly to meet American standards, Something Sony never did.
Plus, it was very costly at the time, And was missing the exceptional Samsung program support at the later versions would have proving Samsung is more than just hardware but also software company as well, and maybe growing in that arena.
