Excellent piece of storage and it is super small in size but lacks a punch. Plug in and it’s instantly ready to go. The only issue is the cost. It’s very expensive but the tech inside justifies the cost but I do see it dropping one day sooner rather than later.
I decided to go for it because after transferring a few games from my external HDD to the internal memory, the internal was already 54% full. Soca worth while investment. Now I have 4TB between this, my external drive and the internal memory

I believe the best word to describe what this Expansion Card would give you over other options is convenience.
I have been able to store many games optimized for Series X on this card, and play them as if they were stored on the internal SSD of my console. With the sizes of many modern games today, I wanted to have more memory available without having to delete many of the games I currently play. I also like that I don't have to constantly delete games and files from storage or that I have to transfer games from the console to an external storage device and vice versa when wanting to download and play a new game. I only have to plug it in and it's ready for use. No updates or complicated steps needed. I also like how compact it is.
If the price concerns you, you don't mind only having a few games stored on your console, limiting your internal SSD for current generation games, or transferring games to a cheaper alternative, then feel free to skip buying this expansion card, as I understand that many people won't buy this even though I think it's worth buying.

After getting the Xbox Series S last year, the standard 512 GB won’t be enough if you’re a gamer that plays 2 or more games. This EXTRA SMALL external drive will do the trick.
This expansion comes in 3 different storage size and they can get pricy the higher the memory space. But worth it if you’re going to be playing multiple games or subscribed to Xbox Game Pass.
Storing files especially games won’t slow down performance. Lag time won’t be a problem.
Only con for this product is the price.

Bought this to expand the storage of my Xbox Series S and it makes a world of difference. In my opinion you should skip right over the 512 GB model of this and buy the 1 or 2TB model. Games load immediately as if they were installed onto the internal console SSD and transfer speeds are impressive. I was getting 6.5 Gbps transferring games from my internal SSD to this SSD. I assume it is using a PCIe interface to reach these speeds. Definitely worth buying, especially if you have slow internet speeds or a data cap from your provider. This will rule out the need to constantly have to shuffle which games you keep on your console. All you have to do is plug it in and under settings you can tell the console to install games here by default.

This Expansion card is a must have for any gamer looking to expand thier library of installed games.
With it's lighting fast transfer speed and the abllity to play games straight from the card that matches the OEM drive is impressive. Even so that it sometimes has even faster load times.
The only thing holding consumers back from enjoying a much needed expansion card is the price.
I do wish it was more affordable, especially the 2tb model.
Which is what I really wanted to have.
Installing is super easy, plug it in the Xbox detects the drive and your good to go.
You can play any game from this drive.
All in all I highly recommend you pick this up.
With all the fantastic games Aval on Xbox Gamepass this is Top tire to never worry about finding your next Favorite game.

Light, portable, and easy to use. Same speeds as the internal SSD and good space. Very efficient for transferring games and to different consoles. Paired with my Series S and I smoothly moved most games back and forth between them.

Is expesive but is the best way to expand your storage on xbox series x. Yes you can find cheaper alternatives but will you be able to run last gen games drirectly from them? Is expansive but thats what this technology cost this days anyway super fast storage better than PC instant response. Playstation don't give storags options as of right now be thankful to have this option.

Does what it says it's going to do, provides you with more storage. Plug an play which is nice. A little expensive compared to the PS5 storage but on sale it's not so terrible.

The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because there was a time where I had to unplug the unit from my xbox and reinsert it. For some reason it stopped working or communicating with my xbox. I admit I was a bit worried as my games were not showing and it asked if I would be using the device with one xbox or other ones. My games did reappear after the message and I was able to use it as normal. Hopefully this is not a reoccurring issue. Other than that the unit performs as it should. You are able to put enhanced games on it which is nice. Games can get pretty large and you can run out of storage pretty quickly. Especially if you like to play multiple titles. Definitely happy this is available as on option. In conclusion I would recommend this item.

This does exactly what you want. The expansion cards just works. No extra setup needed. Just plug it in and let the Xbox do the rest. If you want have more than about 4 games installed at one time, you should buy this. It would be better if it didn’t cost so much but the price was known before buying.

A must have no matter the price. This is really the only storage place that has the same speed as the internal hard drive on the Xbox Series X/S. If you would like to play next gen games, you need this. Without this, you won’t be able to play next gen games unless you install them on the internal drive which fills up fast with how much space you are ACTUALLY given on the Xbox Series X/S and how much space the new games take up. Pricey but pays off!

This little guy will give you an extra 920gbs of storage. It’s very easy to use. Simply plug it in the back of your XSX or XSS and you’re good to go! It’s awesome for going back and forth between my XSX and XSS. If you’ve purchased an XSS this will increase your storage greatly. But it’s not necessary for storing last generation games. You can use your old Xbox one (x) seagate storage device and quickly transfer games over to the console when you want to play them.

Bought a Series S 1 TB a few months ago and needed more storage. Easy to install and its ready once you turn your console on. Would highly recommend if you want extra storage!

Great buy to expand your Xbox series x/s storage memory up to 2TB, it works seamlessly with your Xbox instant start games/apps ect off the expansion card itself, no need to download to console , also keeps your consoles memory free to perform and optimal performance !

MUST HAVE. Unfortunately it is a small chunk of change but with today’s file sizes and everything you honestly kind of need it. I’m loving it though. Really small, nice form factor, etc. Has roughly 920ish gbs of usable storage. Since it is a proprietary form of storage though I can still use the quick resume feature on all my games I have downloaded to the card and everything still loads insanely fast!

This Thing has took my gaming to another Level. Now I’m able to play all my Favorite games until my heart is content. Best Investment for Xbox Series S owners.

I highly recommend the Seagate expansion card for the Xbox Series X/S. 4K optimized games mean more detailed textures and graphics, which, in turn, means games will increase the amount of space they take up! 1TB might seem like a lot on these new consoles, but with 4K optimization patches, the GBs will start to add up quickly. I bought the 1TB expansion card as soon as it was announced because of this. Pre-ordered both and got them on launch day (11/10/2020).
