But it is solid state and is fast. Also, just plug it in and its ready. Easy to use and a must have. Went with 1TB to start. I would not go with less.

Xbox no settings configuration needed. No having to transfer games anymore you can play directly off of the card

New I wanted to double my storage when I got a Series X. Pretty expensive item but the SSD (solid state drive) is the way to go for speed in loading your games. Definitely recommend it.

One positive note is that you don't need to do anything and just plug it in your Xbox series console then transfer the games to it from internal SSD. Cons: $$$. limited storage space and it is plugged in the back of the console.

A worthwhile pickup for ever-expanding game sizes.
