Nice Addition to my Xbox series X

Great addition to my Xbox series X. Now I can download more of my games. FYI - the new Xbox will give your games an awesome boost when you download to the system, or the expansion card. It won't if you use another external hard drive. This expansion card provides the requirements needed to be added to the beast of a console. I play Assassin's Creed Black Flag, it looks amazing and is crazy fast. Only down fall is that it is expensive.

Plug and play, just like the internal

Works just like the internal SSD and plug and play. I think the complaints about the price are a bit overblown - NVME drives with these speeds don't come cheap, and Sony still hasn't released a list of retail drives confirmed to be fully compatible with their slot. When they do, expect them to be the most expensive of the lot. I think a small premium for a compact, well designed, guaranteed 100% compability drive is to be expected.

Pricey, but worth every penny! I currently sit at over 15TB on my xbox series x and it is 90% full. I game a lot and own more games than there is time in life to play them, but with this external SSD I'm able to keep my crucial competitive games installed in a fast SSD that allows me to switch from single player games in a heartbeat to my multiplayer ones without the need to transfer or re-download them. The install is super easy literally plug and play. The 2 TB just came out this year 2022 so I will be getting this one to switch places into my Xbox Series S to get that console some breathing room to 1.5Tb and get my Xbox Series X up to 16TB with a total of 3 TB of fast SSD. If you have an Xbox Series S I say get this or at least the 512 GB version for cheaper, but with any Xbox that is next gen you must own this before you own an HDD in my opinion. It is not overpriced since an SSD of this grade and quality would end up costing about the same anyway so Microsoft isn't ripping you off they did a great fair job with this SSD. The question will be in 3-5 years when this should be a bit cheaper and we will see if they lower the initial price on it or not.

    Every XBOX gamer needs this

I didn't want to buy this but I don't regret doing so. I'm a heavy gamer and if you are an XBOX gamer you know two to five titles can fill up the standard X Series fast. I got tired of offloading and downloading different titles just to play them. I already had an external that I had purchased thinking it was for internal use, yeah terribly wrong I know, and that meant copying from the external to the internal when I was ready to play a game with larger data files. So I bite the bullet and added this and now I can save whatever I want and when I done I can keep it there if I want.

Great storage option if you can afford it. I bought this storage early because I wanted to store the Series X|S optimized games. Works great and easy plug and play installation. Copying games from an external HD to the expansion card was very quick even for large games. You will have some comfort knowing that you'll have some storage space left after installing a few large game titles like Call of Duty.

I bought this as a Christmas present for my roommate. She really enjoys this option for more space on her Xbox. It's plug n' play so no software updates needed, you can just plug it in and start installing or moving your games as needed. Additionally, due to its design, you don't have to fret about pesky cords being in the way from an external SSD.

After about a year of Xbox Series X ownership, I decided to pick up the 1 TB expansion card due to the recent launch of a number of great titles which quickly filled up the native storage on my console. Seagate offers a 2 TB card, but thought it was too pricey for what I need at the moment. 1 TB should provide me with enough extra capacity to manage my game library without having to make a difficult decision to start deleting/archiving games to offline storage. Installation is super easy. Just insert the card and the console automatically recognizes and configures it. No other steps needed. By comparison, the process for expanding storage on the PS5 is a bit more involved, though the benefit is that there are a number of different options and brands of NVME SSDs to choose from, so pricing is a bit more competitive. Hopefully, other companies will be able to work with Microsoft in the future to develop/license storage expansion cards and give Seagate some competition in the marketplace. Overall, very happy with my purchase and definitely would recommend this product.

Got this expansion card for my new Xbox Series S. Little expensive for what it does. Over 200 for a TB. Which in gaming isn’t much. But it is a fast responsive card and will low u more space that the 500GB u get on your Xbox Series S storage. I think it is way overpriced but there is nothing else out there right now that will give u more storage.

for the time that I have been using it, it is a good acquisition, even more so if you have an xbox series s, it is highly recommended, although the price is a bit high, it is worth it if you want extra space and if you want to maintain the speed of current generations

This couldn't be easier to use. Its litterally plug and play with the new xbox. Although I think the price is still too high for what it is, the speeds match what comes in the console and it does exactly what it should do.

Great memory upgrade for my son's xbox series x. Although expensive, it is worth having the capacity to transition and play games seamlessly and without interruption. Easy to use, one simply plugs it in out of the box and the xbox recognizes it and sets it up. I would highly recommend this product.

This Expansion card is easy to use, and love that it adds additional storage without the sacrifice in speed. The fact that it utilizes the Xbox Velocity structure makes this a no brainer if you are looking to expand your storage on your Xbox Series X. Price may seem high, but the technology behind it puts it right where it needs to be.
