Just what I needed to increase the storage on my Series S. I bought it too soon. Prices will be coming down soon. If you can wait a few weeks, you will save money!

This is easy to use -- it just slots into the back of your Xbox to give you more storage instantly. The only downside is that this is pretty expensive compared to similarly sized SSDs, and there are no competing options to choose from with Xbox. But it's nice not to have to constantly shuffle and delete games to make room for new ones!

I only bought this because they price matched and I filled up my XSX internal storage. It gives you 920GB and my XSX games take advantage of the XSX power. Fast loading and also downloading. Recommend to anyone who needs more storage.

As an owner of the previous Xbox one consoles, it was pretty much a given if you owned a lot of games, had a gold account and/or a game pass subscription you needed more storage than what came with your machine. I myself found an external 5tb hard drive in addition to the 1tb hard drive in the console itself was more than enough space to hold a pretty big library. Unfortunately, this solution can’t be utilized the same way with the new Xbox Series consoles. The internal hard drive in these new machines are 4th gen M.2 NVME drives that are utilized by Xbox series games due to their speed. This means in order to play enhanced or specific games for the series consoles, they'll need to be installed on the internal hard drive. Since there is only 1tb on the internal hard drive and even less available after updates, you may run out of room quicker than you thought. Even though there’s been an update to store series games on external hard drives and transferring them to the NVME when you’re ready to play it to save time and bandwidth with your isp, it’s still a pain. Buying this secondary internal storage expands the amount of series games you can store on your machine that are ready to play immediately. The reason is that the NVME that is stored in the series machines is also inside of these expansions(hence why they’re so damned expensive). Between this and the 5tb external hard drive I was using for the Xbox one x, I should be ok for a while. I just hope a higher capacity (and a far less expensive) option for the expansion slot becomes available in the near future.

So first off the elephant in the room.... Is the price worth $220 lol. Well I would like to say that the build quality of this "expansion card" (memory card lol) is exceptional. When you insert it into the back of the Xbox it makes a solid click sound that takes a little effort to get in and you know it's not going anywhere, no wiggle room or anything. It runs seamless gameplay, fast, efficient, powerful and runs everything flawlessly as it should like a normal internal SSD with an extra 1TB and a feature that is also a bonus is "quick resume". I know there's cheaper options out there and better storage options but can they run as seemless as this, can it still hold the optimization of the games to run at 4k 120hz with quick resume without even being aware that you are using an expansion card? No. That's the difference. So if you can justify the $220... Go for it!!

Not much to say in terms of performance. Works just as good as the internal ssd and hasn't given me any trouble. I would however advise you to wait until prices inevitably drop or buy a non proprietary ssd and swap games back and forth. I would only recommend this if you absolutely need more next gen storage. If not a decent $80 ssd can move large 60gb+ games back and forth between the internal storage in less than 10 mins.

Works flawlessly with my new series x. I thought it was pricy at first but the old adage is true- you get what you pay for, and this is worth every penny. It has a dedicated slot made just for it and it fits like a glove with only a few seconds to install it.

If you play a ton of games on your new Xbox Series X or S console this is very much recommend. It is a hot swappable drive and is plug and play. Almost the entire 1tb of space is yours since you don’t need to load the operating system onto it.

Bought this for my Xbox series S. The “S” only has a little over 300TB of space available after you update the box when you get it home. This is very expensive storage but it works great and is necessary for both of Microsoft’s new series boxes, IMO.

Running out of storage and having to delete games is boring and sad, this expansion card fixes that issue. The only sad thing will be your wallet but is well worth it. Its plug and play and it keeps the games running their best.

The Seagate Expansion Card for the Series X/S is exactly what it's advertised to be. It's high speed storage that acts just like the internal storage of the Xbox and it supports all the new features like quick resume and quick loading. It's easy to set up and a breeze to install, just plug it into the slot on the back of the Xbox. I knocked one star off simply because it's so expensive for 1TB and doesn't have higher storage options yet.

Great way to expand storage on the series x and s. This is currently the only way to expand storage on these consoles and still run the next gen games. You can use an usb drive, but that will only run Xbox one and older games.
