This works exactly as it is supposed to. If you want to play Xbox X/S generation games, this is the only storage options. I have an external HD for Xbox One and 360 games, but nothing new will play on anything but this or the internal storage. That said, if you are considering a Xbox S and have a lot of games that will need this card, it's expensive. You might just drop that money on a Series X with the TB internal. Better Deal. It's a lot of money for what is basically a 1TB SSD.

Was this needed? Probably not but I’m glad it got it since it’s so easy to use and allows the same speed for playing games off of the internal drive.

Product works amazing. The games on my Series X load as fast on this SSD as the internal, but the price for this product is ridiculous.

This hard drive is super fast and is a must for XBOX Series X storage - it is a bummer is that it is so expensive.

I read it would "Seamlessly" add more space to your system, which it kind of does. Its nice that its small and fits in back, no extra wires like an external drive. When your internal drive fills (The first 1TB in the console) you will get promoted about installing to your "External Drive" which is referring to this. It can be annoying if you have 40GB for example on your internal drive, instead of just installing your new 60GB game to this drive, it will say "your drive is full, Do you want to install to the external drive". JUST DO IT! So I still find myself going into my storage and moving stuff from internal to this external, so I dont get that message all the time. Its not perfect but its still a good solution. I just wish it WAS perfect because its basically the price of some game consoles on its own. They could probably fix this with some kind of software update/UI Change or whatever.

This thing works great except on 1 occasions that I had to remove and put it back into my Series X cause it wasn’t detected. Moving big games like COD from my old external hard drive took like 5 minutes.

Works great! Doubled the space on the series X. Quick resume still works off this product. A bit pricy but I think it was worth it.

Great for expanding the memory on your Series X. Game file sizes are so large nowadays and this is a huge help. Just plug and play.
