Got this on sale. As simple as can be. Insert in the back of the Xbox One X|S and you are good to go. Good to have if you are tired of having multiple portable hard drives / SSDs plugged in via USB cable and simply want less "clutter".

This thing works great and if you have a next gen I’d recommend the external SSD. These newer games can be massive in size and you’ll need the storage unless you’re ok with playing one game at a time

Seagate’s Xbox expansion drive is easy to use, typically connecting to the console via a dedicated port. This ensures a quick setup process, and the drive is recognized by the Xbox system without much hassle.

Items works as advertised, size is a bit of an issue as is price. Accessing games is very quick but again it can only hold few games given the size of recent games, however it is the only unit that really works with Xbox series X console. Even the 2tb version will not be enough for some gamers.

Being able to run games from a solid-state drive is a big step forward. If you have a lot of games you like to keep ready to play this feels somewhat essential. It just seems a bit overpriced.
