I get these are pricey and hopefully will come down in price eventually but they are very fast. The quality is what you would expect from Seagate. There is a reason I have so many SG hard drives, they just work

My personal use was to boost my Xbox Series S storage as well as move games between an S and X. It would probably work flawlessly as just extra storage, but moving games between consoles doesn't always work flawlessly. Also kind of expensive.

Not going to pull any punches here. Regardless of my ratings for the expansion card, it’s still a necessary item to have, especially for those with the Series S, given how much physical memory is actually available for games, etc., now I purchased one as I have a lot of games, though not all are optimized for the S/X systems. Putting non-optimized games on the internal ssd, and the expansion card helps them load faster with some degree of increased rendering.
The price is prohibitive in general, subsequently costing almost as much as the Series S and only limited to 1TB. Now not all is lost, there appears to be some truth to the rumors that eventually other third party vendors will be allowed to develop other cards, larger capacity expansion cards.
Another issue that I’ve noticed, is that during a firmware update the expansion card needs to be removed from the console, otherwise the firmware will not update. Upon completion of an update, the console may not recognize the card initially, at that point I would suggest removing it again, and reinsert it and make sure it clicks. It is very frustrating when it won’t recognize.
That is all I’ve got for now.

If you own a Xbox Series X/S you have to have one of these. Every new game that comes out requires more and more storage at a higher transfer rate and this will keep you going.

Just what you need to be able to add additional space to your xbox series X. Just which in the future these SSD card are a little more affordable. But other than that, works amazing on the console.

Despite my personal reservations about the way Microsoft and Xbox are playing the expanded storage market, I do love this little thing. I wish I could use any portable SSD but I do like how it’s integrated directly into the console.

I’m glad I bought this extra storage for my games. The only problem I have is that for the price it should be at least 4tb. With next gen games 1 tb isn’t very much. Hopefully they come out with one with more storage capacity.

If you own any of the two new Xbox consoles, this is a must have. I like that it goes right into the console of my Series X. No extra cables hanging, it's super fast as well. So close to the speed on the internal ssd, with no lag.

While the Xbox Series X does have internal 1TB storage it is not enough for storing many large capacity games. This expansion increases your storage while maintaining the speed of internal memory. It is worth it!
