Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The only reason I'm rating it 4 stars is because I just don't agree w/ the concept of having to buy a whole 1TB of extra storage when I already had a 2TB external HD but can't use it for the Series X/S games. Having bought this made me realize that I should have just bought an X and saved the trouble of having gotten this since this combined w/ the Series S is just about (maybe more or less) than the price of a Series X. Now, having said that, this does work just as intended and was simple to install. It's much smaller than I was expecting, but it also sturdy and durable. If/when I do ever upgrade to a Series X in the future, I will be happy that I do have this extra storage.

Plug’n Play next-gen storage

A Must Buy

While the cost may be high and memory a bit low, the performance is exactly the same as the internal SSD on both consoles. While I do hope bigger cards are planned in the future, this one will do fine for now.

The other two cards are either too small in space, or too expensive, though if money is not a worry then I wouldn't think too much about it.

It isn't a must-own today because the games that require it aren't numerous, but a year from now you'll need one or two of these to fit your entire X|S optimized collection of games.
