Not a great amount if storage for the price, but you have to keep in mind you're paying for the compatibility that other drives simply don't have. I'm happy with paying full price, but if you can find it on sale then it's a no brainer.

I feel like even the option of the expansion card is another money grab for people like me who were impatient :( That said, it does make it easier to keep more games on the console to switch between rather than uninstalling a game you're not playing at the moment and then downloading/installing the game you want to play, all without having to keep track of ANOTHER ExHD. I already have 5 since I keep backups of multiple version of my home and work computer. Not having another one is actually a relief. All in all, it's very "average".
