Really no user instructions provided. Seems to be working fine, and very fast, even just over USB.

This space is bigger than what I needed but I feel better knowing I am able to not run out of space for my files. Just what I needed speed, spacious , security and safety.

A friend formatted the drive on a Linux box, then reformatted it on my PC, and it works well now. It turns out that this was a "blessing in disguise" because the drive as formatted by the factory cannot be used for windows "File History" backups. After setting it up, working well!

Speed between computer and drive seems to be very fast, cannot tell a noticeable difference when accessing computer drive or this drive.

I have a smaller 4 gb thats portable and powdered by usb. I love it But I will make this work as my main dump drive. And keep my portables free space.
