So far so good. It's working as a Time Machine backup for my Mac. I just had another Seagate 24 TB drive fail, with an unencrypted Time Machine back up on it, and that drive is a total loss. So I'm now nervous about totally trusting this drive. I'll probably purchase another brand and do a second Time Machine backup just in case. 3-2-1 rule.

Does what i needed it to, use it to store older video projects, footage, and other media i may need for later projects. Easy plug and play, though it is powered separately.

Has large storage capacity. A reasonably fast drive for backup of valuable documents and photos. Much less expensive than an SSD with this capacity.

Was not immediately recognized as USB storage by my NAS but once I created a Volume, it saw the whole drive. Really no user instructions provided. Seems to be working fine, and very fast, even just over USB.

Purchased for work files that are important. This space is bigger than what I needed but I feel better knowing I am able to not run out of space for my files. Just what I needed speed, spacious , security and safety.

I believe I received an "open box" item because the drive was not recognized by windows when I connected it to my PC, nor were the "quick start" instructions in the box. A friend formatted the drive on a Linux box, then reformatted it on my PC, and it works well now. It turns out that this was a "blessing in disguise" because the drive as formatted by the factory cannot be used for windows "File History" backups. After setting it up, working well!

Huge amount of memory, and the ideal backup for my entire system.

Very easy to get set up on desktop computer. Works very well. Speed between computer and drive seems to be very fast, cannot tell a noticeable difference when accessing computer drive or this drive.

Easy to use. Great way to back up tons of photos, files and more. Can’t go wrong.
