It works great with the PS4! It needs to be plugged into an outlet to work, so that's one less plug I can use, but it's worth it for the storage capacity. I love having all my games and apps being accessible at any time, and with room to spare! Definitely, worth it! Would highly recommend.

This is a great Expansion if you need space to free up from your computer. It keeps everything protected and secure.

I was hopeful that this large drive 8 TB would provide storage for quite some time. I store lots of images on my external drives. I was really disappointed in the speed of this drive. I have a couple of folders that are very large with lots of images in them. It takes a minute or two for the drive to bring up the full list of all the files in the folder. I have another drive from Western Digital that accesses the same set of files 20 fold faster than this drive. Since this is a backup drive, it is tolerable, but if this were my main go to drive I would have had to return it.

I purchased this item to move some of my files from my computer. I am thrilled with this purchase. It was easy to set up and had enough storage for my needs.

I reviewed many HD including some cheaper, unknown to me, makes and came to the conclusion that this was the best value ie cost versos reliability. this is the 5th one I have bought. so far no problems

Good. Worked instantly I bought another one Western digital it broke down right away and it took them 3 weeks to send me a replacement I'm going to stay with Seagate

Perfect expansion disk for WD NAS. Plug in via USB, all this space is now shareable on the NAS.

I have a number of this line of Seagate Expansion drives, dating back at least 5 years. They have always worked well for me. Previous models I have purchased had a built-in USB hub - which I never used. This one does not.

So much space! My son loves it. Had it for his ps5 digital with hundreds of games downloaded and still have more than 5 tb left. So worth it!
