Got this for my xbox series S and now i dont have to worry about running out of space or deleting games i want to get back to, since i can transfer it to this hard drive!
Would recommend if you play lots of games and need the space.

Seagate is a well known brand. I have several large Seagate expansion drives. This one is attached to my NAS as additional back-up storage. Easy set-up and access, did not need to do a special format. Quick discover and steady transfer rates.

Very happy with the backup drive. I worked for Seagate many years ago and sold a variation of drives to resellers in the New England area. I had to know the features and benefits of the drive and its capabilities. I love these backup drives. I have one for my PC and another for my laptop.

Does what its meant to do. Hold your digital stuff. Pretty decent write/read speeds, cont complain. not a stickler to much on that stuff, just hoping this last way longer than my previous ones.

I use this drive for backup. The backup runs overnight and unattended. Everything was going fine for a couple of weeks, and then my backup failed. The drive had become entirely invisible to my system. It has a light on the top, which was blinking in a distinct pattern. I removed the USB cable and power-cycled the drive.
The drive woke up, but it was blinking in a different distinct pattern.
I contacted Seagate. After an afternoon chatting with them, they assured me that this was normal. I know that's incorrect. I sit next to the drive, and I would have noticed if it were blinking. I have other Seagate drives, and none of them blink. This particular drive has stopped blinking and seems back to normal.
Since they are convinced this is normal, I gave up.
If I had it to do again, I'd buy another brand.
