The only drawback is that you can't play PS5 games stored on the hard drive, you have to move them from the hard drive to the PS5. It's good to have for games you're not actively playing though especially if you have a digital only version.

Works great BUT..... you cannot play ps5 games off the drive only ps4 games have to be downloaded and crossed over when want to play only ps4 games play off HDD upgrade internal memory to be able to play all games with no problems

Does exactly what you need it to. Very happy to be able to have several games downloaded. I used to only be able to have about 4 AAA games downloaded. Great investment.

I bought this expecting to return it because of the hype that you couldn't import your PS5 games to it. Now i hope im not speaking to soon, but i just moved my first PS5 game from my M.2 SSD to the Seagate and had no issues doing so. Im not sure why others are having trouble but what i didn't do was format it to exFat. I just formated it to USB extended storage. Hope this helps. So excited to have tons of extra GB.

I love the fact that this device expands my PS5/4 game library! However, I was misinformed that you could store your PS5 games AND play them from this device. You can store PS5 games on it -- however, you need to move them back to your PS5 console storage to play them. That's my own fault -- however, this devices has been GREAT at expanding my storage capacity for my PS4 library.
