halo storage

It's been happening often. Never had that problem with other similar items.

Just dont pull a me and use it for something else other than the xbox cause it'll wipe all the data saved

Halo Drive

Reads and writes are OK, not great and certainly not fast enough for the Xbox Series X|S or the newer games that are designed for those consoles. But it'll do to install my older games on for the time being until I can save up for the SSD expansion card. I like the RGB but I wasn't able to get the drive configured with the Seagate software. Not sure why but it wasn't showing up as configurable... in fact, it wasn't showing up at all. The drive was attached to my system and usable (because I was copying data to it to test it) but Seagate wasn't picking it up. While I would have liked to configured the RGB, the yellow worked and matches the color ambiance of the drive case. Last thing to say on it: my drive scanning software was also showing the drive at only 93% health when it arrived. I didn't see any bad sectors or or surface problems so I'm not sure why the drop in health. Ultimately, that's why I only gave it four stars. So far it's working fine but we'll see if it lasts. All-in-all, an aesthetically pleasing addition to my Halo collection that I would definitely recommend.

It looks perfect with my Halo Infinite Limited Edition Series X console. Not only is the artwork and RGB lighting cool, but the drive is sturdy, with a surprisingly slim firm factor. In addition to the design, I also love the build quality. The case is scratch and fingerprint resistant; even the connection cable is corded. Performance is also pretty good. Formatting was easy and fast. Backing up games do take a while, but that is the expected compromise if you won’t want to pay up for an SSD.

Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is the last time I’m buying these external hard drives 5tb 1st one I bought elsewhere but is a lot of space for a great price of $180 at the time but lasted me not even a year and randomly disconnected at times then no longer works turns on but not detectable by any device would not buy again!!!.

Halo Infinite Seagate External HDD

It comes neatly packaged and the RGB software is super simple to use with MacOS or Windows. I love having tons of extra storage space to keep my games installed!

Wish the read/ write speeds were a little faster but it’s a hard disk drive so it’s to be expected. Overall not bad at all. Love this thing paired with my series s console.

Had to pick this 5TB External Drive for the Xbox Series X. It being Halo themed was a plus of course. Have to have plenty of storage space for a game vault. No complaints!
