I DIDNT KNOW THAT THEY DID INSTALLS-- I WILL ONLY USE THEM FROM NOW ON!

So far it works good. The technician was courtesy and did a good job.

I have a jeep that I remove the top from every summer. I wanted a security system that was simple and basic. This unit works great. It issues a warning alarm and if this doesn't stop the intruder, it lets out a powerful siren.

Viper system is very good and covers mostly what you want in a basic alarm system. I have an Honda Fit for our nanny to use to drive our kids where they need to go. So, I wanted a basic alarm for this basic car. It lights, siren, and security capabilities that we were looking for. Since I had a gift card available, it made the price cheaper. The extras i.e. harness and some relays were extra cost so beware of these added costs. Overall, we are happy with the purchase and install.

So far, so good! This is my second Viper I bought.

While the installer was very courteous, the bay very clean and professional - he should have called me when he encountered limitations to installing my keyless entry system. On my 2004 vehicle, apparently not all the features would work, but we didn't discuss any of this prior to installation. It could not unlock the rear door of my SUV. It could not use the horn for the alarm (one of the specific reasons I purchased this product because I HATE those electronic alarms). I ended up having it taken out and returned 5 days later.

Glad we ask the installation tech to go over the system with us after installation, the sales tech the previous day was not as knowledgeable and told us information that wasn't accurate. Some options we thought were included turned out not to be and others we paid to add weren't necessary. The installation tech worked very hard to correct the deficiencies and made sure we got what we were promised even though we did have to pay a little extra.

I had a problem with the installation of the alarm system . The guy that did it said that they usually put it behind the rear view mirror but he couldn't because the light cover was loose? I did not have that problem before going and on the way home my rear view mirror fell out along with the broken plastic piece. It was bad but something broke on the mirror holder and now it wont hold the mirror ? I am still dealing with that. I got a new light cover but I can't put in the rear view mirror it just falls out. I am not happy with that part of my order and now I am hesitant to finish the order for me car stereo and have your guy install it? I am still thinking about it.

I bought the security system keyless entry basically because I had an older Honda that I recently picked up to use as a daily driver for work - but it had manual door locks which were driving me crazy... (I know we've become so lazy) so the guys at BEST BUY installation had me pre-order the lock actuators I needed so that when my appointment time came they had me all hooked up and on my way... it even turned out to be under the cost I thought it was going to be - yay!!! They are awesome, friendly and know what they are doing. I love the system on the car now, and being able to lock/unlock the doors remotely like a normal person. Well worth the money.

Had the Viper alarm installed at Best Buy. It took longer time than i was quoted but it was definately worth it.

The alarm has acted up and or failed several times, stalling the car from time to time. Trying to get a follow up repair appointment to get the alarm serviced is extremely difficult, no answer at the install bay, then it transferred to customer service desk automatically, where someone picks up several times but puts me on hold immediately without saying anything. I called the store manager after I got an assistant manager, and I was put on hold for 29 minutes, at which point I fell asleep, and still did not get an answer or a message. The alarm loudspeaker was installed w zip ties loosely to the cruise control housing, and the alarm body was installed loosely with more zip ties to an a.c. duct under the dash.... This is where it lies now, now, hence the polite scathing, in hopes it will generate a call back.

this alarm is a must have. easy to use and best of all installation was included. nothing can go wrong here

I like the intensity of the blue light on the dash, you can see it from a pretty good distance from the car. I fumbled with the valet function and did something wrong so the alarm went off, she wouldn't start, and only when I remembered the correct steps to disarm it did the alarm stop. I have an older Honda civic with manual transmission so I couldn't get the super tricked out version of the Viper system, but I am very pleased so far.
