Omg!!! I love this vacuum! It works so well and so easy to use! My sons friends think it’s so cool :)

Absolute garbage. I work on networks, not an idiot. Disconnects from wifi doing explore run and won't complete the map. Can't update the firmware myself. It is so bad they have taken it off the website.

Works extremely well. Really picks up small and large pieces on floors and carpets.

Excellent vacuum. We use it daily. I wish I had bought the collector version.

Let it run around the house and it is amazing if you have pets. It gets up pet hair that you didn't know was there. The only knocks I have on it are: the battery life lasts for 2/3 of the main floor and it will get stuck on pet toys or grates. Other than those 2 things, it runs around and over cords without chewing them up or tangling them and self corrects most all of the time, levelwise. Also, if you have pets and one has an accident, God help you if it runs over the poop. Wouldn't be bad if you could spray it out, but not so easy to accomplish. A closed system so this would be an option would be incredible. For an AI product, it does well when mapped, but otherwise its hit or miss. Love this when it is doing its thing.

It works fine and does not make noise like usual vacuum cleaners do.

Out of box I found a spot to put this where it can stay all the time and charged it. The set up was so easy. I downloaded the app and connected to our home Wi-Fi. The machine mapped out our home and then came back to the base, probably took about 30 minutes. I decided to let it clean right away. I had just swept the house Saturday morning, today is Sunday. We have all hardwood floors in the house. The Shark Robot took about 35 - 40 minutes to clean the entire house and once docked I emptied the bin. OH MY GOODNESS, it was full. It picked up so much pet fur that I didn't even know was on the floor. I plan to run this daily. It did a wonderful job of cleaning. I was quite impressed. Years ago we bought a different brand and it just couldn't figure out what to do and would constantly get stuck on things. The Shark never got stuck at all. It's amazing. I would most definitely recommend this to friends. This is going to be a game changer in my house.

Item worked well for a while. Then sensors stopped working. Have tried to contact the company butI am never able to get someone on the line.

Highly sensitive and cleans well. I have it set to run daily at 1am so I can wake up to a clean living area. It's still going strong after 6 months. The only times we've had hiccups was because we left items lying on the floor before going to bed.

It cleans better than I expected and the lidar seems to do its job. The app connectivity leaves a bit to be desired but I just push the clean button, walk away and come back to a clean floor.

I’m impressed with the power of this vacuum. Does a great job on all floor types. Takes a long time to do the job, so if you need a quick clean before company come this won’t be the best option.

I’ve had this vacuum for about three months and haven’t had any issues with it or the app. I have a long-haired cat that sheds a ton and this does a great job at keeping the house clean

I have owned a few robot vacuums over the years, letting them live in specific rooms away from each other - preventing them from communicating together as to not accidentally start the robot apocalypse. Just kidding, we can take them. The Shark Robot Vacuum seems to be able to handle things better than a higher priced robots, and has a lot more features that would be sold separately on particular robots(particularly No Go Lines). Upon unpacking the robot and reading instructions let you know that you have to install the side brushes (2 sets included), which I found slightly odd as it could’ve easily been preinstalled as it would not stick out of the packaging, but I guess it’s okay to know where to put them so you’ll know how to replace them (since I would imagine most people will toss the instructions – who reads anymore right?). It took a couple of hours for the robot to charge up fully, and very easy to download the app, connect it to the 2.4G wifi, and account creation. This is always important, ease of use – the robot has a QR code you can quickly scan to get to the correct app. After being fully charged, I let it scan 1 room (which the robot considered 3 rooms – not an issue, but just interesting how it determines obstacles as room separators. As odd as it seems to have 1 room split into 3, it’s actually a good thing when it comes to deep/spot cleaning (more that in a bit). Letting it explore for the first time was very interesting – as the explore path lives up to its name – SHARK! It did an amazing job of NOT hitting anything, where I find my other robots actually hitting walls/objects to determine the boundaries. I did enjoy not seeing it touch walls, because it always makes me feel uncomfortable when your robot vacuum makes a “thump” – even if it is a light one. It’s a computer! You shouldn’t hit your computer! Whatever technology their sensors use, is so far the best for making sure it’s not going to hit a wall – that’s awesome. After having created the map, which I had to rotate in-app to reflect the room (there is a rotate button), I let it do the first cleaning and once again I watched in amazement that it covered the map without hitting anything, and did a pretty good job. It wasn’t excellent, as under low table it happened to fit in – it skipped a section. The section was noticeable as it was dusty, but the light available under it made me think that is why it was probably confused – but no problem, because that’s what the Spot cleaning is for. When in the app, going to the Spot section creates a box on the map in which you can zoom in and out to focus an area in the room/house. I zoomed the Spot box onto the area the robot seemed to skip on the first run, and a few minutes later – area clean! Incredibly easy to do! After a couple of runs, I emptied out the dust bin (which they recommend doing after every run, but this is small room), and I did notice that I had to unscrew the dust bin to completely empty it out. Slightly annoying, but not that big of a deal. Pros: Easy to setup Easy to create floor maps Spot Checking to pick up any spots missed Easy scheduling Won’t hit walls Low enough profile to go under cabinets / low tables No Go Lines built in (and not have to buy additional items) Cons: Some edges are missed as robot wouldn’t hit the wall (not a big deal/tradeoff) Requires a screwdriver to *completely* empty bin Overall, I love it, it’s the easiest robot vacuum I’ve had to setup, use, and modify the map to make sure it stays in the room, out of trouble. The no go lines and Spot cleaning is a big deal and very useful to me. I will say the only real downside is having to unscrew 2 screws – though I guess if I got the self-cleaning model I probably would not have to deal with that very much, but that is also fine – the room I’m using it in is going to just mostly be cleaning dust anyways. I would definitely recommend this robot vacuum!

The most awesome item I have ever bought!!! Love love love this! I had a Roomba before and it was good but this goes in pattern and gets everything up!

This vac runs great easy to use and maps quickly. I ended up taking it back and got the self cleaning model shark RV1000AE. Wish I still had this one!

Great addition to our household. This is our second Shark that we use upstairs. Great so far!

Love it! Once it is programed it does the work.Need to empty the bin every other cycle, but that is easy!
