Decided it was time for a new vacuum and saw this bad boy on sale. This thing works great! We have wood floors and carpets and this vacuum has a button on top to switch to both modes (wood or carpet) when vacuuming. I also used this to clean inside the car and made our car look brand new inside. Overall very happy with this product

Very handy and good performance. Light weight and easy to clean.

The shark vertex works very well... pics up the little stuff and big stuff and does a good job on carpet... have used the dust devil and a couple other models worth about 50-75 bucks... Nowhere near as good as the vertex... The vertex is pricey but in the end it's worth it highly recommended.

Wanted a lightweight vacuum but not cordless. This Shark answered the need. Very effective on bare floors and does get into spaces and under furniture very well. Works well with keeping hair from wrapping around the roller. Bit cumbersome to use as a hand vac

very light cleans well. takes awhile to get used to the swivel head . easy to take apart and use as portable vac, which makes it very nice to clean carpeted stairs. small waste container must empty often. we like the 30 foot cord, again it makes cleaning the stairs that much easier

I bought this on the Deal of the Day and not regretting my buy! It is light weight, picks up so much of my dog's hair, plus the self-cleaning is awesome! The only thing, I wish it could do is standup on its own, instead of having to be propped up against something. Glad I made the purchase!

Purchased this for my wife as a Christmas present to replace a Shark we bought a year or two ago. The power of the Vertex is fantastic. We have two dogs that shed quite a bit and always would tangle up the brushes in the old vacuum. We are convinced the Vertex truly is a tangle free vacuum with loads of power and true consistent suction.

The vacuum is nice, a little on the short side but all in a is nice. I do not recommend this vacuum for carpets if you have pets. It does great on hardwood flooring but is awful for picking up dog hair on rugs and carpet. Id you likevto vacuum the same place/room multiple times than this is the vacuum for you! The attachments seem to work well but ince you use them it seems to burn the filter up and makes the vacuum itself pretty warm to touch. It is pretty lightweight which is nice. All in all its a decent vacuum but not worth the price.

This is a good, light weight vacuum with a nice long cord to give lots of vacuuming flexibility. It is not as easy to use as a cordless vac but will not lose power as the batteries age, so is a good compromise.

I was impressed by the suction power relative to the weight of the unit. The versatility of the various attachments combined with the ability to convert to from a unit small enough to use asa powerful car vac, out to a device long enough to remove dust bunnies from ceiling corners. I am pleased with this purchase

Great lightweight vacuum for occasional Fifth Wheel RV use. I purchased this for my RV and decided to go corded this time due to previous cordless vac's loosing battery capacity due to the extreme hot and cold environments my RV is stored in. Works great for pet hair on the carpets and does well on the bare floor areas too.

Way more than I expected. Getting right to it, I only find two minor annoyances with the vacuum, but they don't detract from me awarding this vacuum 5 starts. First, the vacuum is top heavy, so unless you rest it against a wall, it is prone to fall over. Next, the cord is a bit stiff to wind up. But the cord is super long which is a very nice feature. As for actually vacuuming, this unit is a champ. It is pretty much self propelled and works awesome on hardwood and on carpet. It is compact enough to use on a couch, car or the like. It comes with all the accessories you would need. The bin is easy to empty and clean. Finally it is small enough to put in a corner and it not take a lot of space. My wife and I are Dyson people and own a Dyson upright and a V10. I didn't want to spend the money on another Dyson for my office, so I bought this Shark instead. Great purchase and I'd highly recommend.

Great suction, but I feel it could be a bit stronger. It does pick up dirt and I love how easy it is to remove each piece. Very nice option if Dyson feels too heavy for the wallet. I expect this to last me at least 5 years or more.

I have never been so excited about vacuuming. At night, it lights up the dust buildup, so is super satisfying to watch dust/dirt disappear on hardwood floors and marmoleum. It is so compact and swivel-able it reaches under chairs, under couches, under or pretty much anything in the house. I can even vacuum left handed with this thing. Then when i'm done vacuuming a room, I can pop the top off and quickly hand vacuum the couch, windowsills - whatever i need to without a huge conversion process. Couple of negatives: it's not very wide, so is great for small areas or houses with lots of furniture, but hard to guide perfectly straight on hard floors so big expanses could be better served with a wider vacuum. The other thing is it does not stand up by itself if fully assembled. I store it either hanging up, or separated, with the vacuum hanging on the base. It also doesn't seem very heavy duty, but possibly because it is so light. I love love love this thing.

This is a great vacuum for hard wood floors as well as carpets. It has great suction and the fins keep hair from wrapping on the brush roll. It also works great as a hand held for furniture. Only drawback is that the dust cup is small but it empties easily.

This is the third Shark vacuum that we have owned. It has not disappointed. It is very lightweight and very powerful. We had to replace our Shark Rocket True Pet, and this vacuum is better at picking up fur and litter without sending it flying everywhere. Very happy with this purchase.

This is the first Stick vacuum I've purchased. I did some research on them before buying. This is perfect for my needs. Quick, easy to use. Stairs are always a headache with a full size and this works great. I have hardwoods , carpeting and linoleum and it's great on all three.

Love the functionality of this vacuum! Compact, detachable for getting furniture, cobwebs and powerful suction picks up everything (hide your puppy). Cord is long so not a lot of moving plugs to get every room and love that hair does not get caught in the rollers - genius!
