After 30 years of use it was done. I decided I would look for the latest model of the same brand since I liked how it worked out. I found this one which is the same size and newest version of the same model. What I like is that it has improvements from OG model. The quicker set-ups are great and it is quieter. Also has a brighter readout screen.

I really like the 30 second timer by hitting the start button. The only cons are that other microwaves do not show the word END when it is done - it shows just the current time. Also it doesn’t beep every 30.seconds when I haven’t opened the door to get my food. However I am getting used to these cons and think the microwave is really good

Bought this  microwave because my previous one started having issues with its turntable. This microwave was on sale so that helped me make the decision to buy it.  Also, I do have past experience with sharp microwave products.  The first one that I got. I got when I was 18 years old and now I am 55.  great purchase. Thank you Best Buy for carrying the product.

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had two Sharp microwaves before this one, so I was already aware of their overall quality, but when the second one had a problem with the off button, I bought a larger unit by Frigidaire, which I felt wasn't as good. I decided to go back to Sharp, and I'm very happy with this one; the turntable moves fast, which IMO heats the food more evenly, the buttons are easy to read (much better than the Frigidaire's), and the unit's size is just right for what I use it for.

Although we are a family of six we use the microwave sparingly so we decided to put ours on a shelf in our new kitchen island. Fits perfectly, looks great in its place, and works perfectly as well. Great price for a nice microwave and reliable brand.
