So this system is super easy to install, No hard Instructions. When my alarm pad kept going through a lot of batteries I contacted the company then sent a new one out free of charge. It’s a great Security system.the company is great. I love that it’s a great price for a security system

SimpliSafe was founded in 2006 by Harvard Business School student Chad Laurans because his friends had break-ins, but couldn’t find a security company that was designed to help renters. OK so I own a house with over 4,000 square feet and am not a renter but it works perfectly. Moreover, they say it can be installed in an hour and I did it in 59 minutes with 4 door sensors and a monition sensor. Finally, I bought Simplisafe for my wife as a Christmas present and when the unit went on sale Best Buy they refunded me $54.00. You will love how easy this unit installs the seamless, integration with the internet to access the professional monitoring and the people at Best Buy who are there to answer questions.

After reading reviews of several self-install systems, I chose SimpliSafe. The system had consistently good reviews, was economical, and has a monitoring option that requires no contract. I accomplished the complete setup in less than an hour. It is simple to use, provides peace of mind, and is unobtrusive.

The simpli safe system was really easy to install and setup. The only problem was with the startup. If you need monitoring immediately, call ahead. We lucked out with customer service when we set ours up and they waived the 72 hour "get used to it" period. Which was great except that the cellular module was having issues. They over-nighted us a module for a different carrier, but since it was a Thursday evening, it didn't ship until Friday and didn't arrive till Monday. Luckily at some point Friday morning the t-mobile module finally got a signal. Since then it's worked great. Very reliable and the monitoring is as good as bigger companies like ADT. I would recommend this to anyone who needs a quick, easy, security solution.

I set this up myself in about 30 mins. Easy setup easy to use. I did have to contact support because base station would not connect and I needed a Verizon module instead of the T-Mobile that came pre packaged in the set up. It came in about a week I switched it out in less than 5 mins no problems since. Very fast response. We have a ADT system at other house we have and when our contract is up we will be switching other house to this system.

Not many things are easier to setup than this system. It doesn't have the look of many modern systems but it connects to just about anything you want and has app access. Using the install on a Mac wasn't as easy as a PC but thats to be expected. Only reason it gets 4 stars is for aesthetics but for security reasons it can't be beat and at the Black Friday price it was a steal.

I had CPI for 10 years...in a new house and had gone a year with no security system (break-in two doors down less than two months ago). This was super easy to install and works like a champ (accidentally set it off, oops...and police were at my door in 5 minutes). Took less than an hour to install...have told everyone that will stand still about this product (and service)! One happy customer!

This is a great starter set for a security system. It is excellent and affordable. You will probably need more window sensors. Just like the box says, you can install it in under an hour. None of these products require you to nail anything into the walls, which is great. I compared Simplisafe to other comparable products and found this one easier to use and a better value.

Overall the system was easy to install and set up. Operation of the system is very easy. The web application and phone app work as expected when functional. The con is the base station occasionally loses connectivity with the internet and interior wifi connectivity to the sensors can be finicky dependent upon where the base station is placed.

Bought for 90 year old mother who lives in the country with no internet or smartphone. System works great for her. Easy to use once setup. Setup and installation was easy. System did not boot up correctly the first time and had to call for tech support. They walked us through rebooting and system connected immediately to their network. The great think about this system is you need no landline or cell connection to make it work. There is a cell connection built into the base station for the system and it uses the T-Mobile or Verizon system. There is no additional charge for the cell connection. Monitoring is $14.99 a month for basic and $24.99 for advanced. The difference being with the advanced you can do stuff through a smart phone app. Overall very pleased with how this system works and costs.

Good price for starter kit. The alarm in the box isn't very loud. Needed to buy a siren and extra motion detector, which weren't available at Best Buy. Setup was very straightforward for my 1st alarm system. Happy that it doesn't require a long term subscription, but good to know it can be added.

Paid 39.00 a month with a well known security company. After my my contracted ended I went with SimpliSafe. I pay 24.95, no contract. Very easy installation, I had no problems setting it up. The only concern I have is the key paid is hard to see the numbers, and you can't here the system arm or disarm. And there is no way to turn up the volume. I did purchase the larger siren but it only boost the alarm not the keypad

I love it! It is easy to install and has an app to control it. I think it is Great there is no contract and the price per month is reasonable. Wait for a sale to buy the equipment. It is nice you can easily add components if needed. So far so good!

Very easy to install and set up home security system. Installation only took about 30 minutes and activation was easy. The sticky tape that comes on the sensors and pads seems like it might not hold up long, but so far so good. I like the fact that it doesn't require a contract, you can start and stop the service at any time. The alarm siren that comes built into the base is not very loud, if you are interested in a loud siren I would recommend purchasing the additional one that is available.

Super easy to set up and better price than buying from the company directly. This package doesn't come with a loud siren unfortunately. Can be added however. Very easy to set up. No frills security system, but works well.

I bought this to replace my Honeywell (Monitronics) system I had installed 5 years ago. I am cutting the cord so I needed a system to work without a landline. So far, this fits the bill. Setup was a cake as I installed this where my existing sensors are. Configuring the system was a breeze and the instructions were simple to follow. I accidentally set the alarm off twice and the 24/7 monitoring called me very quickly to make sure everything was okay. For $15 a month, you just cant beat it. My only complaint is that the system isn't as loud as my old system. I knew this before I bought it but I might spring for the louder 105db add-on siren. If you are looking for an affordable security system and dont necessarily need all of the bells and whistles, this will be perfect for you.

If you want a home protection system and real time monitoring without the big name pricing, this is the system for you. Great product, easy to install, no long term contracts, and reasonable real time monitoring (less than anybody else).

Looks a little bit dated in design and the mobile app is not probably the best around, but this is easy to setup and affordable security system. Pleased overall.

This should be putting alarm companies out of business. It is so easy to use and hookup. Plus its monitored and gives you a discount on your homeowners insurance. Its a no brainer. $15 dollars a month with NO CONTRACT!!

Works great for a person not wanting to commit to a long term contract. The monthly fee is also inexpensive. I also like that it has an app to monitor and control the system when away from home. I, personally, have not had any connection or installation issues. The reason I did not give it 5 stars, is I believe the system could use some updating, i.e. touchscreen display, this is something I would even be willing to pay a little extra for when purchasing or adding on equipment. But, the design is understandable, as this is the more 'economical' choice for home security.
