Amazing speakers, great bass and sound quality. This speaker has Alexa built in and can play Apple Music, which the Echo/Tap/Dot lack at the moment. Others say that Alexa doesn't have all the features, I haven't encountered this issue but I trust Sonos will continue updating the speaker's software.

We have these in three bedroom in the condo and they do a nice job filling the home with music. They'd also make for nice surround speakers. My future plan is to pair them up in BR 2&3, and add a pair of Play 5 to the Master BR. The Sonos 1 also would make a nice surround channel. Sonos is a fantastic system. We have them throughout the condo and surround in the home theater area. Easy to set up with a smart phone. Easy to turn on and off rooms. Group the or use them individually. Only glitch I see is, when you move a speaker to a new WiFi, you pretty much have to do a reinstall.

I already own a Sonos 5 and was blown away with the quality of its sound. When I needed to expand my speakers into another room, I looked at my choices and went with the Sonos One with Alexa. Somehow Sonos has made it easier to set these up than the first time. Worked the first time. The sound quality is excellent, naturally not as good as the Sonos 5, but the room is different and the product performs very well where I have asked it. The unexpected ease of Alexa was a bonus. I was really surprised to learn that Alexa is on even when there is no music playing. I would purchase, and in face I may purchase, this product again.

Bought this speaker to add to our current Sonos array. Simple to setup including the Alexa setup. Speaker is great and Alexa works even with our ascents. Only issue currently is the Sonos phone app which has recently become much less intuitive and as a result cumbersome to use.

This Sonos 1 and the other white one we had installed were my first experience with Sonos but the system is amazing. Does all we want and plays in different rooms. We will be adding more units to the system and the Alexa allows voice control so even the kids can use it. Recommended.

I have had the BOSE sound touch speakers for years and they are great. But, now that the sonos speakers come with Alexa, I decided to give them s try. Not only do they sound great, but they are SO much more user friendly. For for that reason, I would recommend them to anyone.

Why spend $150 on an Echo when you can buy a Sonos with Alexa build in for $200? The sound is fantastic, general set up is incredibly easy, and even the smart home functionalities that Alexa adds to the mix are simple and easy to install. Definitely buying more Sonos items.

Great Speaker but Poor Alexa Integration

First off, there is no denying that Sonos products are top notch when it comes to sound quality, so I want to establish that my comments are related to the integration of the Alexa voice assistant. As others have said, Sonos has committed to improvement of the integration, and there is little doubt that will achieve a superior product, eventually. My aggravation is that I want this to work well now, not in six months. I have a Dot which is connected to my Bose BT speaker and it performs far better than the integrated Sonos with comparable sound quality. Yes either set up has it's glitches, but the Sonos has an issue that causes it to just randomly quit streaming every 10 to 15 minutes where I have yet to have my Dot/Bose.com setup stop streaming. If you are a patient person who doesn't mind being what is essentially a Beta user, you will be fine with the Sonos. As for me, I will forego the $199 Sonos in favor of a $30 Dot and the Bose speaker I already own, until I am sure the Sonos has the bugs worked out. Again, no hate for Sonos, I want immediate gratification when I speak my hard earner money.

I've listened to the play 3 &5 but the cost was prohibitive when looking for speakers for my wife. I was pleasantly surprised by the sound quality for these smaller units. The incorporation of Alexa makes them perfect for the kitchen and bedroom space.

Best Smart Speaker I've ever had!

I've tried multiple smart speakers, Google Home, Amazon Echo, Sony, etc. and this one, by far sounds the best and gives you the best experience for your money. It is pricey, but it definitely comes with its perks. The ability to use Alexa and the promised integration with Google Assistant that was promised by Sonos makes this buy a NO BRAINER. It is the only speaker out there that you can find that will let you add an Apple Music account. Amazon + Apple + Soon-To-Be Google integration makes this the best speaker choice out there and it sounds amazing!

This speaker sounds very good for the size but the bass sounds a little flat at higher volumes. I have a one in the den, one in the kitchen and one in the living room and they pair easily with our Sonos playbar. The speaker works great for listening to some music while hanging out with friends over dinner or just relaxing at home but don't expect it to fill a large room. Alexa is very responsive and works extremely well but I find myself having to yell if the music is too loud. Overall a great sounding speaker and very easy setup.

I can not recommend these speakers enough!! Easy to set up, sound quality is great. I purchased this speaker for my kitchen as I already have Sonos surround sound in my living room (2 Sonos ones, Sonos Beam, subwoofer). This addition works seamlessly when adding to the sound in the living room or if I want to listen to something different than what’s going on in the rest of my place. Alexa is a nice feature as well especially in the kitchen when your hands may not be available.

Sound is amazing. I like that it has been upgraded with Alexa (which keeps improving with skills). All my streaming services in one and controls my Lifx lights too. I'm actually buying another one to pair them both. Great buy!

The sound that this small smart speaker outputs is surprisingly good! I want to give it a 4.5 and only reason it isn’t a 5 is the Alexa integration has limitations. No texting, calling and others from the Sonos w/ Alexa. Easy setup was also a plus

Great speaker for music as I expected but I was absolutely blown away by how great both my Sonos Ones worked in a surround sound setting in my Den with my Sonos Beam. A+ for music and TV but A++++++ for movies that I stream/play via blu ray/DVD/4K Bluray. Easy to set up and they work great with Alexa if you wanted to just use one by itself. $199 speaker worth $299 in my opinion based purely on functionality (now with Airplay 2) and superior sound quality.

The speaker is incredible. Music is crystal clear in a small package. The Alexa capability is fun! A couple of things to point out. Setup took a number of steps. Have patience and follow the instructions. For iPhone users don’t expect native AirPlay with Apple Music. According to Sonos support is coming in the spring of 2018. You have to use the Sonos app to control your music. The app is a bit laggy, but usable. Sonos Truplay is not supported on the iPhone 8, Plus and X. Sonos is working on that too. Keep in mind this speaker does not have Bluetooth. I have read so many reviews where people have bought it and thought it came with Bluetooth. Nonetheless, solid speaker in a small package.

The main reason I purchased this over the Amazon or Google Home devices is that you will (eventually) get to choose which service to use AND have a very good sounding device. Sound quality - this device beats both Amazon and Google's current offerings easily. Being a design snob I also find the clean lines and minimalistic appearance quite pleasing. As is the case with most speakers this size, bass quality is good to a certain loudness level then begins to flatten out, but overall the sound quality is very solid through the entire volume range. No issues using "Alexa" or configuring for that matter so far. Just waiting on the Google Home update for the software now.
