I'm 58 and "old school' when it came to music, thinking hat you need and amp, preamp, and speaker to get great sound reproduction. Man, was I wrong, these things ROCK, especially the Sonos 5s I LOVE Sonos! I now have 4 Sonos 1s, 2 Sonos 5s, Subwoofer, and 2 Sonos amps to run my existing wired speakers. The amp is IN the speaker (class D, so great quality) and you have to do is plug it in. Set up so easy a caveman (me) can do it, and the app is very easy to use. It allows you to play one, two, or all your rooms with the touch of a button from your phone, and you can 'equalize' each room in relation to the others. VERY cool. The packaging is equal to Apple, and look and feel (and sound) oozes quality. I would HIGHLY recommend Sonos products.

I've been watching the Sonos speakers for years, waiting for `something` to get me to pull the trigger. The recent sales pushed me over the edge and I got a Sonos Play:1 and the Sonos One (so I could play with Alexa). I'm really happy with both. I'll be happier when Airplay2 comes along, but in the mean time this speaker doe what it says. Couldn't be happier.

My first experience with Sonos. Setup was really easy. (5 minutes) Alexa is absolutely a plus. This speaker is perfect for a starter on a sonos system. Great range and clarity at 3/4 volume. Anyone who hasn’t had experience with high quality speakers will hear sounds in their music that they haven’t before. I have two spread out in the house (3000 sf) to see how it covers the area. I will be buying the sound bar, sub, and a few more play-ones to have surround sound and fill out the house with more range and power. Overall the Highs and Mids are very good. Lows drop off a bit with louder volumes which is expected considering that this is the smallest in the sonos lineup. If you are interested in crystal clear quality music and moderate volumes then these are your way to go.

Sonos as a system is a wonderful thing. To truly appreciate it you need to buy into their universe which is ultra convenient and the best of this type of experience, but it comes at a sometimes high price. The Sonos One is at the low end of the price spectrum but you’d never know it by the excellent build quality. The Sonos app is required to make everything work and is above average but not without a small learning curve. The whole thing is very Apple like. The integration of Amazons Alexa seems to be a very natural progression for Sonos and is implemented very well here. I find that Alexa is just as easy to use on the Sonos One as it is on my Echo Dot. You can control lighting in your home, the content of media played (including start, skip, stop, and volume) and an ever growing number of smart home devices that are being added on an almost monthly basis. The true stand out feature of the Sonos One over the Echo 2 is the quality of this speakers sound. As far as wireless speakers for under $200 I’d say it the best. I have two paired up for stereo sound in my bedroom and they are a joy to use. I would highly recommend the Sonos One to anyone in the market for a wireless speaker. Alexa integration is simply the cherry on top.

If you're looking for an Alexa equipped speaker, this can't be beaten. The sound quality is outstanding and you can pair more than one to create a stereo effect. Easy to use and set up.

Mesmerizing sound from such a small Speaker And oh yes you can talk to it. Tune it with your iPhone for best sound quality. Used to be a Bose fan for a long time but now it’s Sonos all the way. I have the Play 5 in family room, Sonos one in bed room and Sonos connect in office. Planning to buy playbar when Sonos comes up with HDMI connectivity.

I listen to music every day, all day. These speakers are definitely all that I hoped they would be. I love having the ability to have music all throughout my home with no interruptions but also having the ability to have each room set to something different based on the mood. My only complaint besides the price would be the fact that they have to be plugged in the socket. I would love a rechargeable feature. I currently own 7 speakers. 3 play 1's and 4 Sonos Ones with Alexa. I am hoping that Alexa gets more features such as the ability to group the rooms without my phone. Other than those minor complaints, I love and highly recommend them. I just purchased the amp and outdoor speakers, I'm hoping they sound and work just as good.

First off the speaker sounds great. I’m super picky and I was so impressed I picked up a second One for stereo pairing. Totally worth it as together they sound amazing. I read some negative reviews about the Alexa implementation in this device, before I made the purchase. Seems like there’s been some software updates since those reviews as I think Alexa works pretty well. Not as good as my echo dot -but it does most of the things my dot can. I’m sure they’ll iron out the issues in the future.

The Sonos one is the best smart speaker on the market, it sounds fantastic, has the best streaming feature from ease of use and connectivity point of view and has both Alexa and Google Assistant.

Already have 6 sonos speakers, so knew what I was getting into. I love their products as they always feel like they are durable and have amazing sound quality. Bringing Alexa along for the ride is a great bonus. Would recommend sonos speakers to anyone if they like great sound and the ability to run multiple songs in multiple areas.

Speaker in my opinion sounds better than regular Sonos Play 1 but maybe it’s just me. Love the fact it has Alexa built in allowed me to move my existing echo into another room and use the built in assistant and speaker for better music quality. Although it seems like the mic array atop the speaker has some “blind” areas if you will and won’t always pick up voice, which can be frustrating.

This is a Sonos Play:1 with Alexa built in. More streamlined design. The Sonos microphones don't seem to be as sensitive as those on the Echo and the number of commands is limited compared with the Echo, but both of those things can (and probably will) be addressed in future updates. Sounds much better than the original Echo.
