I wanted to get a 2nd Alexa device, I already have a 1st generation Amazon Echo and love playing music on it. Once I heard sonos is making an alexa device I was sold as I was looking to get a better sounding Alexa. Sound is definetely better on this but rhe Alexa needs improvement, it is really buggy. Music stopping or not playing, so hopefully it gets better and Sonos is promising more updates like google assistant. It works most of the time so for me it’s a keeper.

Growing up in an audiophile home I was very quick to scoff at the Sonos products. But like most young men, I had a young lady start hanging around and my large Klipsch speakers with a “confusing” receiver had to leave the living room. Little did I know that Sonos products were an easy, user friendly, and surprising high quality sounding solution. I bought the Beam first to help keep my setup clean and was so impressed I added two of these Play1s as my surrounds! Setup was a breeze (no running speaker wires a breath of fresh air) and once I tuned the system I was very impressed with the sound.

I purchased the Sonos One to add to a few other Sonos speakers owned. I use the One in my home office. The sound is great, as expected from Sonos. Alexa is very responsive, the One has replaced the Dot in my office. The only feature I miss is the "Drop In". Hopefully this functionality is added via software update.

The sound on this speaker is pretty amazing. You get crisp highs, balanced mids, and good clean bass (not overpowering like subwoofers) if you mount it properly in a corner of the room 6' off the ground. The corner walls act as a bass reflex box so the bass sounds better this way...don't expect thumping bass though, just clean well-defined bass. Now the big negative, the mic is pretty bad for Alexa. She hears you but she gets your request wrong about 20 percent of the time. Compared to an Echo or Echo Dot which gets it wrong about 5 percent of the time, the Sonos One fails in this category. I'm only disappointed that I ponied up an extra 50 dollars for each of the Sonos Ones we bought for the Alexa compatibility (we have 4 spread evenly throughout the house). When Alexa works on these Ones, they're great though.

This is my first experience with Sonos but the system is amazing. Does all we want and plays in different rooms. The integration with Alexa makes it even better with the voice control. We are not audiophiles so the Sonos 1 is great for us. Others may want one of the higher end Sonos systems. Highly recommended.

I already have several Sonos speakers and wanted another Alexa version to use in my bathroom. This speaker makes getting ready in the morning less stressful as I just need to ask Alexa to play the radio station or my audiobook. No need to fidget with the the dials - it is all via voice control. I can also ask what time it is when I think I am running late & check the weather.. Setup & Pairing with my existing speakers was extremely easy. Great sound, clarity and volume for such a small speaker. Also, since Sonos keeps adding the popular voice assistances (google & Siri) this is the most versatile speaker on the market (unless you need Bluetooth). The speaker always understands what I am asking & responds correctly, even when I call out requests from the shower. It is wonderful to start a book in my bathroom and have it read throughout the house. Great for the days you do house cleaning! Definitely worth the cost- at least for me. Try one out, I doubt you will be disappointed.

I got the Sonos One pair for the 349 discount and just loved them. Here are the highlights: - Having a stereo pair for music fills the room nicely. - Having the pair for Alex listening has helped getting commands across no matter when I am in the area. Just having one Echo as before didn't always pick up the commands as well. - I want to expand these new speakers to be the rear speakers when Sonos comes out with an updated base/bar that supports DTS/Atmos. This ability to serve multiple functions is great. - I love that there is the chance to also support Google Assistant and Apple Airplay in the future which will streamline my tech setup now. - They just sound awesome!

As a solo music player, it works well, no complain about the sound. However as a smart home device, it's not ready for market yet. The Alexa software for the device is still considered in BETA two months after release. Several skills that work on the Echo's don't work on the Sonos at least yet. Especially the Sleep sounds, none of them will work. For the cost of the device and the expectations from Sonos on quality, it feels that this was rushed just for the Holiday season. My 4 speakers were returned.

An amazing speaker to add to a room sounds great great bass and easy to turn on with your phone it's easy to add to other speakers including extending the TV sound to other rooms

This is the 10th Sonos speaker I've purchased. They have fantastic sound, easy to set up and are compatible with many music services (Pandora, Spotify, Sirius, Apple Music, etc).

Sonos has made a great speaker into a more capable one. Microphone isn't as good as our Google Home microphone, and Alexa has some catching up to do, but we use the Sonos one mostly to control our Sonos system by voice, and since it is such a new product, it can only get better from here, hopefully!

Picked up a pair of these at Best Buy a couple weeks ago and began the installation procedure. It's a very straight-forward process, but I had an issue with one of the speakers being unreachable over WiFi. After a couple more attempts, I called the posted number for Sonos support. They were very responsive and after having me do a factory reset on the misbehaving speaker, I was in business. Speakers sound great by themselves, but the addition of the Sonos sub and Soundbar fills my 500 sq. Ft. Family room with clear, crisp sound. And the whole Alexa thing is kinda cool... Can't wait to get more of these awesome speakers.

We recently made the decision to go with the Sonos system over their much more well known competitor (rhymes with rose ;) ) and we couldn’t be more pleased! It was so easy to set up and so much more expandable than the other system. The app is so user friendly and the addition of Alexa makes it fun to use. The only thing I’m waiting for (and I hope will come in a future software update) is the ability to “drop in” on other Alexa products as we have several dots around the house specifically in my kids’ rooms to use as an intercom system. Overall, very pleased with the sound quality and wireless streaming music. Makes for a nice home atmosphere!

This SONOS is a great additional speaker and it is wonderful to have Alexa built in. The speakers perform great sound and we really enjoy them all. We bought several. I wish they would run more sales on these speakers so I can fill the whole townhome with them. What a joy to use and have

Excellent quality. Best part is it can play my existing MP3s rather than only purchased / subscription service music. Alexa integration rocks. Microphone quality could be bit better - The Echo Dot's microphones are way better at capturing voice than these ones. Not a deal breaker though

Excellent sound quality, fairly easy to setup. Can hear the music throughout the house. Alexa is fun, but I wish Sonos would pair up different speaker models. I really didn't want two speaters that have Alexa, but you cannot pair the regular speakers with the Alexa speaker. Best buy personnel was extremely helpful, the in home representative as well as the store personnel. Since I bought two different models of speakers, I had to take one back and buy a different one. The cashier was very helpful and efficient in taking care of the exchange. Overall I am very satisfied with Best Buy and Sonos brand speakers.

Great sounding and clean. Easy to use and the bass is great. Keep one in my room and the other in the living room can sync it for a party!

I bought this for my mom as a present and she absolutely loved it- it was easy for her to setup and shes talking to alexa all the time now. Ugh. The music sound is amazing—
