    Well initially I really liked this sound bar. That's when it worked, It sounded well and really made watching movies more enjoyable. Then I went on a trip, came back, powered it on and it just kept saying "please wait." I'm somewhat tech savy so I read everything I could on how to rectify the problem. Their are post online about this dreaded "please wait" issue so I tried everything I could to no avail. I finally did what most people dread and called sony tech support. After an hour long phone call of being told to do what I had already done nothing would fix it, The tech support person was kind enough but could not fix it, At the end of the conversation he told me that they'd email a shipping label and that I'd have to send the sound bar to the repair shop to be fixed. Well that's not very ideal after two months of paying $300 for a soundbar. I took the email to fedex and they printed out a label and shipped my $300 soundbar to Texas. This was an issue since Texas was not where the repair shop was located. That would have been New York. I shipped my soundbar to be fixed on May 23rd. The package showed back up at my house on June 2nd with a return to sender label. Sony tech support sent me the wrong label and my sound bar took a nice tour of the Midwest down to the gulf while I waited. So it's now June 3rd and my broke sound bar is sitting in my living room again. I called sony customer service again and they had to take my number to have a higher up call me back. I was suppose to get that call at 10 today but it's now 7 and nothing. So that's great as well. I seldom complain or really even return things but this has become somewhat ridiculous. At this point I just want my money back or at least a new unit, not this broke one refurbished. I guess we can dream. Again the soundbar was great for the two months it functioned properly. Having to deal with trying to fix it and then being sent a label with an incorrect address is embarrassing and extremely frustrating.

    So this sound bar seems to have all the right features. It has Bluetooth, 4 HDMI ports, optical port, google cast, wireless sub-woofer, expandable wireless surround speakers. However, the first one I got did not work with google cast or HDMI ARC very well. It would work for a while then it would decide randomly to stop working. It would sometimes come on with the TV other times not. I returned it to Best Buy it was within the 15 days. The replacement I got worked for 30 days then it started to lag. The sound would lag behind the picture and it would get worse the longer you watched. It would also take forever to boot up (5+ minutes) when it use to take less than 1 minute. After calling Sony customer support i finally got someone to agree that it needed to be taken in. Sony wants you to use the Chat feature for customer support but it would time out before the sound bar would load. Then Sony sent me the instructions for shipping the sound bar. They forgot to send me the shipping label i had to call back and get that emailed to me. Once I sent it to their technical repair. I got a call when they received it. I got a call to tell me that they were going to replace it. I got an email saying the same thing. It will take 5-7 days to ship it. I am waiting for that, they said they would send me the tracking number. Here is to hoping threes the charm. Summary best features for this price but I have had two bad bars. Sony customer service it bad, not terrible just hard to get a hold of. Once you get it to the repair people (third party) they are really good at communication.

    Had big problems connecting New Sony sound bar to New Sony TV. Best Buy Geek squad spent almost 2 hours in my home and could not get Sony TV to recognize Sony sound bar. Sony expert at Best Buy was somewhat helpful and committed to contact Sony and then contact us. After 2 weeks no call from Sony expert.

    Terrible to setup

    Purchase 65 inch Sony HD TV and this sound bar. TV was easy to setup, but sound bar was a problem. Salesman said to use fiber-optic cable and show me the ports. Got home, no fiber optic in box, only HTMI. Could not get to work. Went to store and purchased fiber cable, but, would not work. Called Sony support it was terrible. One and 1/2 hour later got some sound by sub woffer not working. Call Geek Squad to come out and paid $100. Tech said they would not warranty if sent up with HTMI, but only fiber-optic, but needs HTMI to program. Say what??? I spent many hours on this and paid $100. This was a bad experience and I would never recommend this product because of this bad experience. Something that should be simple turned into a big waste of time and money.

    Had to send back for repair under warranty. They couldn't get part for repair.. Got store credit and new unit.. Same thing happened again. Used some the of store credit to buy different soundbar.

    It worked great for 3 months then quit! We didn't purchase the warranty in the store so we had to go through Sony and they refused to refund our money. They would only repair or replace it.

    thought should be very easy to set up and connect to my Sony Bravia TV, but no. thought was very complicated and can't get any helps from Bestbuy team without paying. so i am returning them.
