Well worth the price

Easily the best I’ve ever owned. FALD on a monitor of this class is a real game changer and it makes a world of difference compared to my previous Samsung G7. Paired with a PS5 it looks absolutely stunning. Great performance with my desktop too, though Windows’ HDR implementation sucks really bad. While there are certainly better 4K HDR monitors with FALD up for grabs, they are often twice the price and twice the size, and I think in that segment of the market I would rather spring for a TV. For $900 the Inzone M9 really cannot be beat. Fantastic work by Sony.

Great monitor, albeit a bit pricey

The local array dimming is a nice feature to have, since it's normally only found on TVs, although it could have more. The blacks still look pretty good though. You may be able to find a cheaper 4k monitor, but this works well for my needs (PC and PS5). I can't speak about the weird designed stand since I mounted it.

For those looking for high end on a lower budget

If you’re choosing between this model & a similiarly spec’d LG 27GQ950 or Samsung Odyssey G7 just ask yourself if a decent to good HDR experience over no HDR is worth the price difference to you.

If you set the Local dimming to Low or Off, this may cause the whole screen to look washed out. You may try turning off Auto picture mode to resolve the issue. To ensure the best picture quality, please make sure all devices are up-to-date on software and HDMI settings are set to the highest quality output from your gaming system. Picture quality being subjective may vary depending on your preferences. Please use the picture mode on the M9 menu screen to find the quality that best suits your needs. You may also adjust picture quality in the picture Adjustment menu area as well. The INZONE M9’s Preset picture modes are designed to optimize picture quality for specific use cases. Standard, FPS and Cinema preset modes are tuned for overall balanced performance, optimized for FPS games, and for enjoying cinematic content like streaming movies or videos, respectively. For more customized performance, we recommend using Game 1 or Game 2 and turning off HDR to ensure your customized settings are not overridden. When using the INZONE M9 with a Windows PC, we recommend downloading the INZONE Hub software to seamlessly control the monitor settings.

Great for PS5 but so many issues with DP on PC

First off, I had no issues with using this monitor with my PS5. The quality was pretty good. I enoyed playing my RPGs on it. So no complaints there. My biggest issue was when it came time to use it on my PC. I purchased a high-end DP cable that could handle the high refresh rate at 4K. Like several others, mines kept flickering to the point where I ended up with a black screen. A couple days later they released an update that seemingly fixed the problem at first as I was no longer at a dead end with the black screen. I slowly started noticing the screen flickering about every 45-60 seconds. For the price I paid I shouldn’t be dealing with these issues. This was the deciding factor for me.

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.i finally decided to upgrade my Asus vg289q1a to take advantage of PS5 120hz while playing FPS title mainly COD Cold War. im not going to lie, my old Asus colors pop out more than this monitor but after using it for a few days, i got used to it. Sony said it automatically detect which games you're playing and auto adjust your preset. this is WRONG! i had to turn off the HDR just to use FPS preset. even if i have HDR set to "only when supported" it doesn't let me switch to FPS gaming preset which is so annoying. i have to turn back hdr on and off depending what games im playing. also, i keep getting black screen "scanning for signal" everytime i close my game and open my PS5. i tried different 2.1 HDMI cables and it still persist.. with this price tag is it worth it? i absolutely not. i would've waited a bit longer for them to address its issues. so, if youre planning on getting this monitor, dont get your hopes up.

The INZONE M9’s Preset picture modes are designed to optimize picture quality for specific use cases. Standard, FPS and Cinema preset modes are tuned for overall balanced performance, optimized for FPS games, and for enjoying cinematic content like streaming movies or videos, respectively. For more customized performance, we recommend using Game 1 or Game 2 and turning off HDR to ensure your customized settings are not overridden.
Please note that the available settings differ depending on Preset mode or input signals:
-When the Preset mode is set as Standard, FPS game, or Cinema: Sony provides optimized picture settings by default, and menu items are grayed out, except Brightness, Local Dimming and Aspect Ratio.
-When the Preset mode is set to Game1 or Game 2: Can be adjusted with desired settings. If Eco mode is on, the menu items are grayed out.
-When the input signal is HDR: Only Local Dimming and the Aspect ratio can be set. For additional brightness, contrast and gamma control, please try changing Black Equalizer setting from 0 – 3, under the Gaming Assist menu.

It’s an amazing monitor and it’s just as how I expected! Runs smoothly and properly! The only thing I don’t like is that it takes a little bit for an image to appear when starting an application or turning on a console and or maybe pc. Other than that the picture is great and fun so smoothly!!

For optimum performance, make sure that the software version of the monitor is up-to-date. This monitor automatically selects the input to which the signal is being input. If there are multiple input signals, the inputs are selected in the following order of priority. HDMI 1→HDMI 2→DisplayPort→USB-C. You can also switch the input manually, use the joystick.
