It displays beautifully and automates a few things for quality of life. Only gripe that keeps it out of 5 stars is that some of the settings are locked and it doesn’t make sense to me why I can’t access those. I think it shouldn’t take a whole lot of effort to understand how to check settings so that’s why it’s 4.

Coming from a 55in 4k tv to this is just amazing. Still gets me that 120fps at 4k on both my consoles and PC. Image quality on games is amazing.

Excellent monitor with a small drawback

The design of the unit is nice and had a backlight behind the screen that you can change to a color of your looking. My only wish is that the panel was an oled. Highly recommended

Great monitor for mix of HDR/FPS game play

Choose this over the LG pq/gq 950 Monitor cause of the HDR quality was better on the inzone m9 since I plan to use it for HDR game play and fps if you don’t care about HDR quality then I would recommend either of those LG monitors instead.

faulty input switching. terrible customer support

I've reached out to Sony about fixing this, but they have been wildly difficult to deal with. When they finally sent a replacement, it was already damaged. So sadly I am living with a faulty monitor and try not to switch inputs when I can help it

Its super bright and with the FALD you can have actual blacks in your monitor! No more washed out gray! I did have an issue with it identifying input, but it does have a great Inzone desktop app so you can make changes to it, so I set the input manually and have not had any issues since.

This is by far the worst. Sure it's pretty and plays games really well, but that's not an excuse for the build quality and quality control. I've had dead pixels on two of these displays. They are ultra sensitive and will not hold up as well as a Dell monitor. Don't get me started on the stand that's included... it's awful. I would say that you should buy an ergotron with it, but an even better idea would be to just not buy this monitor. It's not a good product, there are lots of issues with just about every feature of the monitor.

The LCD panel fitted to this unit is manufactured with high precision technology, giving a functioning pixel ratio of at least 99.99%. A very small proportion of pixels may be stuck, either always off (black), always on (red, green, or blue), or flashing. I wanted to love it but…

Designs cool and matches the ps5. Reason for 2 stars…randomly searches for input. Even in the middle of a game. Scree will also go black and when it comes back the picture is fogged out. There’s an update for the monitor, from the firmware version it was on…the update could possibly fix those issues, however you won’t be able to find out unless you have access to a windows computer with a usb c port. I don’t. So I returned it and went with a lg 27gp950 instead. No issues there.

I use this monitor with my pc that has an amd Rx 6800 xt and it works really well together. I did have initial problems because I was using a display port cable that was 1.2 and it was doing the searching for signal problem that people have been complaining about. I went to buy an hdmi 2.1 cable and same problem happened and I was locked at 120hz without being able to choose 144hz. I went back to the store and bought a display port 1.4 cable and all the problems were resolved. If you are going thru the same problems just please don’t buy a cheap 5 dollar cable because you’ll have flickering problems. The monitor is super easy to set up and my kids I are loving it now.

MAJOR FLICKERING ISSUE WITH PS5

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.If you have an issue with connecting this monitor with a MacBook, use a DisplayPort cable, that's what fixed it for me. The major problem with this monitor is that there is MAJOR flickering issue when playing on a PS5 and using VRR. I have researched this issue and found that people recommend turning off VRR. Of course this fixed the flickering issue but this should not be a requirement. For $899, and it having been made by Sony, the company that also makes PS5s, it should work exactly as intended with a PS5. Also, if you want to update the firmware of your monitor and don't have a Windows computer, tough luck because there is NO way to update it with a MacBook! If you want to experience next-gen gaming, don't use a PS5 on this monitor and use your hard-earned money elsewhere!

For those looking for high end on a lower budget

If you’re choosing between this model & a similiarly spec’d LG 27GQ950 or Samsung Odyssey G7 just ask yourself if a decent to good HDR experience over no HDR is worth the price difference to you.

Spectacular monitor

The picture quality is outstanding both on PlayStation five and PC. You will have to update the monitor once you receive it. I had to watch a video from Sony on how to update the monitor. I would suggest doing this before you start. I’ll make the process a lot easier or once it’s updated. It’s good to go. I ended up buying the monitor at a discount because I bought an open box one I would say go this route if you wanna save some money but other than that, this thing is awesome great.

Sony Inzone M9 Gaming Monitor

I had to swap the HDMI to a Display Port. The issue i was having was the monitor wouldnt detect the HDMI input. Swapped other HDMIs as well. This was on occasion and could be a settings issue.

Nice Monitor on Paper, but Needs More QC

I LOVE the styling of the monitor, but obviously this is a personal preference kind of thing. It performed well, as far as refresh and gaming; however, the good kind of ends there. The worst part about this monitor was that it would auto-disconnect any input and begin searching for a signal at any time. This happened while idle, when waking from sleep, and even while gaming. The second worst is the absolutely horrendous backlight bloom and bleed. This is quite possibly the worst blooming I've ever seen in a monitor. Coupled with the bleed, and it was just a no go. There were a bunch of other nit-pick issues I had with the monitor, but with just the first two returning it was warranted.

It is also recommended to use a High Speed HDMI cable or the latest version of a display port cable. Sometimes cables are the easiest cause for concern and fix most issues.
If you have multiple devices connected to the monitor, you can disable the auto input search to manually select a specific input. For more information, please refer to this link:

To reduce the blooming or halo effect, set the Local dimming to Low or Off. Note: The setting may cause the whole screen to look washed out.

DEFINITELY WORTH THE BUY! Works Like a Dream!

I then read specifically the reviews for this monitor before purchasing. I purchased it yesterday immediately for my PS5 and I LOVE IT! I get to use 120 HZ in Call Of Duty's graphics settings and the game is fast and SMOOTH. The 1ms response time is a dream! My KD went from 1.4 to 1.71 in just a few hours. I did see other reviews where people's monitors were damaged but mine is in mint condition and I love it! I this monitor to anyone looking for a 4K gaming monitor with VERY quick 1ms response time and Variable Refresh Rate for the BEST gaming experience.....especially on a budget!
