  • Would Have Been 5 Stars, Volume Lag Issue

    Everything is excellent about this TV except that there's a volume change lag issue when a soundbar is connected and controllable via eARC. It's a Sony HT-A7000 soundbar too, so it's not like it's a different brand or something cheap. You would expect their own products to work together flawlessly, but they don't. Went through all sorts of troubleshooting steps and contacting customer support to no avail.

    What a fantastic TV. Fantastic screen with awesome colors and definition. Buy less than a month and there is a white line going right down the middle of the screen !!! Not happy. Called best buy and a new one is on the way. We got the Total Tech and greatful now we did. The Techs will be here Tuesday. Keeping fingers crossed. A lot ofmoney for a bad TV.

    I love this tv, when it works. The screen quality is great, it’s slim, sounds great, etc. but we’ve had nothing but issues since day one. We had to end up getting two tvs sent to us because they kept not working. First tv after a couple of weeks just kept blinking red, so they sent us a new one, then the second one wouldn’t open any apps and kept blinking a yellow light. Apparently after reading a few articles it is all internal issues that Sony cheap out on. I want to be able to recommend this TV because in theory it’s really nice; but for $3000 to cheap out and have constant issues not even after a month, multiple times with multiple tvs, it’s absolutely not worth it.
