It is a lot brighter and crisper. I downloaded from Bravia Core Spider Man Far From Home for the IMAX experience. You get 10 credits with the A90J so I spent 1 credit on it. It looks so clean. I watched Netflix, HBO Max, Prime, and Disney+ on it and it looks great too. Sound I have the Sonos Arc, sub gen 2 and play 1s for my X950G. I had to upgrade the sound so we sit further away from the TV. A90J sounds good for its speakers. I never planned on getting a Sonos Arc or any sound bar since I spent so much money on it. Plus I love how flush it sits on my TV stand so another reason for not getting a sound bar. People ask me "is it worth the money?" I would say yes for me since I do not change TVs frequently. I bought this TV to upgrade from my 2013 Samsung 60" which doesn't have the new subscription channels. Only thing I could watch on it was Netflix ad Prime. Yes I know Roku would solve my issue but I like Android TV a lot. The remote is really cool too. I love watching TV in the dark so it lights when I touch it. If I ever get a PS5 I would update my review and include how it looks when gaming.

No need for the remote, as you can command the TV by your voice (Hey Google, switch to AMC). YouTubeTV integration is seamless and saves you the cabe box and additional wires. The remote has great layout and has a mic included for voice commends - it is also backlit so the buttons are easy to navigate in the dark.

The image quality is fantastic and the difference is noticeable from the first moment that the set up was complete. Image contrast, details and colors are spectacular. This is the perfect television for viewing your 4K and HDR movies, or watching sports in 4K.

My last TV purchase was the X900F and i love that TV as well, but the picture on the A90J is actually worth the hefty price. After you get the picture settings exactly where you want them this TV brings everything to life and is definitely bright enough for a brighter room. Very tempted to purchase the 83” in the future .

This is a replacement for A1E oled that I had for 4 years. Although I can't compare them side by side, the A90J is noticeably brighter in HDR mode. In SDR it is not as noticeable but I think it is somewhat brighter. Sound quality is very good! It's tough to say anything negative about the A1E but this is definitely a step up. Best TV I have ever owned.

The smart technology is the best I’ve owned to date, however, you may disagree based on your own preferences. I considered purchasing a Fire Stick because I use that technology on my other tv’s, but the Android based Sony platform is good enough that I decided to forgo adding a Fire Stick to this tv. The picture is beautiful right out of the box, however, it’s difficult to see in bright sunlight. Ours happens to be mounted near a window and when the sun peeks through the window and lights up the room, the screen has a tremendous glare. That being said, if you can control the brightness of the room, it shouldn’t be a problem. The setup was incredibly simple and when compared to the previous year’s model, the picture is much brighter. It’s certainly an expensive investment, but overall I’m incredibly happy with the purchase. If you want the best picture you can buy at the upper end of an affordable price, you need this TV!

My only negative would be the lack of gaming features, like VRR and only 2 HDMI 2.1 ports(one is eARC). I am still breaking in the tv, but so far it is the best TV I have ever owned and seen in person.
