I spent months reading reviews and researching large TV's. I have had a Sony 55" for 15 years and it has been an outstanding TV. I also have a Samsung 55 " and the sound quality is not good like with the Sony. There is little need for sound bars and/or intrusive sound systems with the Sony. Sony has an outstanding product and my new 75" is no exception. I have had the TV for one month and I LOVE it more each day. Easy to operate and superior picture. The geek squad that installed were great !! I highly recommend this product. I am a very hard to please female and I appreciate the finer things in life. My new Sony is my most treasured possession!! It is hard to grasp the quality of the picture and its colors on such a large TV!! It is Big and Beautiful !! (Just like me).

The picture is AMAZING. Paired with Sony 4K BluRay player. First movie in 4K was Guardians of Galaxy 2, and it was awesome. Love that it runs Android, so many apps, including games. I purchased 2 PlayStation controllers so I could play games on the TV, no other hardware necessary. Smooth game play. I purchased 64GB Flash Drive and connected and just leave in for extra storage. Neflix & Amazon & Google Play & PLEX Apps are what we use the most often. Also has ALEXA support. I haven't played with it much, other than being able to use Alexa to turn on/off TV. Works nice if you leave the room planning to come back, but then get side tracked, you can just have Alexa turn off the TV for you.

I can't say enough good things about this tv. I bought the 75" version and it is incredible. Is brightness capability can make you squint, the blacks are close to oled level. The colors it can produce are so vivid but not oversaturated. It's motion processing makes the motion so silky smooth. It's ability to upconvert 1080p makes a good 1080p source look so close to 4k quality. I can't stop watching Planet Earth 2 on Netflix, it just looks so amazing. I highly recommend this tv for anyone in the market for a mid-high end unit. It does everything so we'll. Some don't like the Android TV interface, and admittedly it can slow down at times, but I'm an Android phone guy so I don't really have an issue with it. I like the fact that it has the play store available. Overall, an A+ score.

I returned the samsung 9000 in exchange for the sony 900e. The samsung was a great tv also with alot of pros but i was looking for something with superior picture quality which i found with the sony. Blue ray movies and 4k content are amazing to watch on this tv. I also just watched the superbowl with my bunny ears and again the sony outperformed when watching sports. I dislike the funky remote compared to samsungs bluetooth remote and i also liked samsungs easy to use menu setup. Overall, i believe i made a good decision on the exchange.

This TV has an amazing picture. On 4K sources there is a lot of depth in the image and at times almost looks 3D. Love the android based TV as well. Is very cool I can bring up my Google Play Music cloud stored music. Video games are a blast to play on a 75 inch screen.

I absolutely love this tv! The color is amazing! I didn’t want to make the mistake of ordering a tv online until seen in person and omg this tv is the best out there! I bought a Samsung last year with 5 star ratings and when we received the quality sucked! It looked dark and the colors were dull! We ended up moving that Samsung to the bedroom and now have this one hung in our 16 foot ceiling living room with the sound bar sounds amazing!!!! Like if we are in a movie theatre! Very happy with my purchase!

Great reception and quality. Fantastic colors and very stylish. Don’t expect to see what you see in Best Buy. The televisions are set for 4K. When you install, not everything is 4K.

Bought the 75" X900E July 3rd 2017. Died within 60 days, in September 2017. Best Buy would not return it. Sony sent me a new one finally in October 2017. The new replacement tv died in February 2018. I am currently waiting for my 3rd replacement tv to arrive. Sony will not let me get a different model number. Sony will not extend my warranty for my troubles. I deeply regret my decision to buy a Sony tv. My 1 year manufacturers warranty will expire in July 2018 and I have zero confidence that the 3rd replacement will last much longer than that. Sony-NEVER AGAIN

i read many many reviews before buying this - i suggest sorting by one star and working your way up. what i was looking for in a TV was the Picture & this one delivered in abundance. It up-scales everything & i actually bought this to go w/ my XBox One X which is 4k. i really didn't care about apps, but this one does come with many. the software is a little sluggish when changing input - but that is a minor issue & not why i bought this TV. i bought it for the picture & for that reason - this one gets 5-stars from me

Like so many other reviews I’ve read, I waffled between an OLED and a higher-end LED. Man, the OLED brand markets itself great, and you know what? I bought one, the LG C7. But here’s the thing: While OLEDs tout themselves as perfect blacks, the black crush you read about is real. Dark scenes are too dark — and I don’t care how bright you make the set during calibration. I watched 20 YouTube videos and read 20 more articles. During bright scenes (think American Vandal by and large) OLEDs are great because the contrast really makes the color pop. But anything darker, especially shows like Stranger Things, fail to highlight any semblance of brightness — hence the black crush. So I returned by C7 for the 900E, which was also 10 inches bigger. What a massive difference, and I’m not talking just in the literal size. The 900 is so much brighter and the color is stunning. The detail in 90 pct. of the shows far exceeds the OLED. And lemme tell you: 10 inches makes a big TV turn into a de facto movie experience. Oh and the upscaling is so much better than the LG OLED as well. A no-brainer if you’re considering both. Sony wins in a clean sweep.

Fantastic picture on this tv. Gets nice and bright. The blacks are excellent as well. No flash lighting or banding. My only real complaint is the android operating system (menus). The android system lags & is not as intuitive as the Samsung OS. I returned mine because of the laggy / freezing settings & smart menu, but instead of trying another Sony I tried the Samsung MU8000. Big mistake. The Samsung has a OS/ menu & remote, but the Sony 900e absolutely destroys the Samsung picture, especially in 4k. Going back to the Sony.

I just bought an Xbox One X and decided that I really should upgrade my TV as well. I'm coming from a 65" Panasonic VT30 and though it has and still serves me well it doesn't support 4K HDR. This TV has an Amazing picture. I was playing Assassins Creed Origins and it looks unbelievable. My only complaint is the haloing effect you get when there is a dark background. I knew this before I bought the TV due to the LED back-lighting and it isn't as bad on this TV due to the Full array LEDs but it is still noticable. I was going to purchase a LG OLED but they had really bad burn in caused by fixed maps and such from games that stay on the screen the entire time or logos from cable stations. This is a know problem and its not covered by warranty. I choose this TV due to tons and tons of reviews from several different websites and aside from the haloing issue this TV is fantastic.

As a plasma owner, and like a great many people, I waited for OLED to arrive and prove itself in the marketplace. PQ has always been everything to me over all other considerations. Meanwhile a new house with a large finished basement changed my priorities somewhat and size became a bigger consideration than before. OLED is ridiculously priced for anything over 65". So I struck a compromise and went for the best tech/screen size combo I could rationalize. The 900E quickly proved itself as that set, being available in the larger 75" and yet having much of the better tech Sony has achieved with this type of display. If I could have justified the cost or settled for a 65" screen, the Sony OLED A1 would have likely been the choice. The superior 940E LED was simply too much to spend for my needs with no hint of when the pricing would modify sufficiently to make me pull the trigger. The 900E has everything I really need in a quality set with the size I desired. The set is beautifully designed with endless adjustments and the ease of obtaining a calibrated picture with any kind of lighting in the room is a winner. The off-angle viewing is not nearly as bad as I thought it might be and improves significantly when the settings are dialed in. I am a happy camper.
