SONY OLED TV GLITCH

Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Its a great TV, but We've had it for 3 months and are now seeing little glitches on the screen which look like the pixels behind the screen are not quite behaving right. Periodically we see a white pixel for as little as a split second up to 3 seconds, and it appears in various locations on the screen. We can watch the TV for a few hours, and nothing, then all of a sudden get the glitch. We will then not see it for perhaps two hour, or half a day, or we could see the glitch 5 minutes apart. It seems random. Tried getting a photo, but am too slow to take the picture LOL. We are using the SONOS sound system so sound is great. Am going to contact Best Buy where we purchased it and see what they can or will do.

High-precision technology is used to manufacture LCD and OLED displays to maintain a high standard of operation. However, with all LCD/OLED screens, regardless of manufacturer, there may be a small number of dots that do not change color. This is normal operation for LCD and OLED screens for all manufacturers. Check the reviews which are true, and look at it side by side normal LCD in the store. It is expensive, and I paid full price. But fortunately there was a price drop afterwards which I almost missed. But thanks to outstanding customer service by Manal in the North Wales store, I got a much better price for it. Best customer service I've had in any store ever.

Awesome picture.. bad tuner

I was unsure if the tv would work as my family room has a wall of windows and it is awesome. I bought this tv to replace a 85" samsung qn900a 8k tv that died on me after 4 1/2 months. The only gripe is that the tuner keeps saying no antenna connection while the tv is showing the channel. I have to turn it off and turn back on to get rid of message in the corner. I also bought a 65" A80K OLED two months ago and it had the same issue,I thought it was the TV, so it's not just this tv, it's the tuner. what's up Sony? I have had several other tv's on this antenna with no issues. I have it hooked up to 7.2 dolby atmos system so I don't know how the sound is

Allow us to help isolate the problem. Please make sure that the software is updated as it includes key features, applications, bug fixes, and feature improvements. If your TV is saying no antenna connection, the signal being received may be weak. If your TV uses an over-the-air antenna, try to adjust the antenna. Best Buy ordered a replacement and reinstalled 2 weeks later. Tv is mounted above a linear fireplace. Very impressive in size and picture
