Dune Has Never Looked Better

I upgraded from a ~5 year old Sony X850 which was very decent at the time and still looks great, but the upgrade to this display is a major improvement across the board in image quality. Big plus if you have the ability to completely dim your room, glare could be an issue with a lot of windows in the room.

We're glad you love the exceptional 4K HDR picture quality this OLED TV delivers and you are having an enjoyable watching experience. Please note that this TV doesn't feature X-Anti Reflection. If you really want the best viewing experience, it's a good idea to turn off all lighting sources as Sony TVs look the best in the darkest environment possible. Light from windows and lamps may cause glare on the TV screen. Using a brighter Picture Mode, like Vivid or Standard, will also help reduce reflection while watching TV or gaming. Glitchy software and annoying beeps

There needs to be a way to adjust the loudness of the confirmation beep every time you move the cursor, it is extremely annoying. Also the Picture in Picture feature has glitched twice on me already by suddenly going to a blank screen on its own without doing anything or receiving any input from me. You have to restart the tv software to rectify the problem. This has happened 3 times in the 45 days I have owned it. I am recording the events with my phone to verify the problem.

We’re so glad you love your XR-83A80L, but we’re sorry to hear the Google TV interface hasn't felt very user-friendly. We want your experience to be as smooth as the picture quality! If the main screen feels too cluttered or overwhelming, we recommend trying Apps Only Mode.
This feature hides the recommendations and simplifies the home screen to show just your app icons, making it much easier to navigate. To turn it on:
Go to Settings > Accounts & Sign In.
Select your account and turn on Apps only mode.
Alternatively, if you prefer to skip the smart interface entirely, you can perform a factory reset and choose "Basic TV" during the initial setup. This will limit the TV to just live channels (antenna/cable) and external inputs (like a Roku or Apple TV), giving you a much simpler experience. Thank you for choosing Sony!

Easy to use interface. No issues with it at all. I also have a recent model LG OLED TV. It's very good, but not as good as this Sony.
