This is my 3rd a6xxx series camera.
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.After I killed a6000 and a6300, I got this a6400 about a year ago. Compared to older model a6400 improved focusing speed and accuracy. The battery life is maybe little bit better but not good. My ald a6300 was over heati g and shut off when I shot 4k. But not this one. Small and light enough with 10-18mm f/4 or Sigma 16mm f/1.4 for gimbal. I use more this camera than my full frame a7iii.

Phenomenal camera at a great price!

Great for beginners and experienced shooters alike. Down sampled 6k footage to give very crispy 4K video. Improved color science for photo and video really looking good on skin tones. Flip up screen for vloggers. Improved autofocus rivaling Canon.

Excellent Camera

Silent shooting is a great feature for stage photography which is most of what I do. Only draw back is the menu system is unnecessarily confusing.

User Friendly

He was nervous as it has such a big menu option, but the reality is it's so user friendly. He is able to shoot manually and make adjustments on the fly, and the pictures these take are amazing.

Favorite Camera!!!

I actually like using this for video more than my a7iii because of the flip up screen and how small and light it is. The only downside is the battery is not as good as my a7iii but they are small and easy to carry multiples.
