I recently purchased rh Sony a6000 before a trip to Europe and the alps for a few months. I had been in need of a camera for awhile now but didn't want anything to big or of course expensive. I was only working with a GoPro for my trips and wanted the power of a n interchangeable lens camera for better landscape and lifestyle photos of my adventures. After starting to look into my options a mirrorleaa camera was definitely what I wanted and needed! I went to Best Buy about to buy the canon m3 mirror less so I was able to change lens with my dads DSLR. But the only drawback i hated was the price for the electronic view finder addition to the m3 was ridiculous! The sales associate showed me the a6000 which I thought was out of my price range, hut at the time the had a special for the camera body 16-55m and 55-210m lens with a bag for an amazing price. After hearing all the features he Sony ruled over the cannon m3 not only the built in flash and view finder but the shutter speed was over 2x better as well! I can not say enough good things about this camera, I love how small it is and able to literally keep in your pocket and not have to lug a huge bag around! The video capabilities are incredible with manual and auto focus, the manual settings are great as well to refine your picture abilities. It is a perfect camera for a traveler especially when you grab an extra battery and throw In a 64gb SD card.

This is the camera I would like to have and now I am enjoying it. It takes true color and takes fast pictures. I like the feature of the remote where you can zoom and adjust ISO using your phone connected thru wifi. The easy upload to social media and easy transfer of photos to my phone or ipad were really the best part.

Terrific first dslr. Got this as a present for a beginner and the single most important factor was the camera's ability to connect to a smart phone or ipad. This makes it simple to put extra high quality photos on facebook or instagram. Light weight and very small for such excellent image creation, the camera, 2 extra lenses and battery charger-batteries fit into a really small camera bag.

It is very easy to take pictures and I like the fast focus. There is so much you can do with this camera but comparing some pictures to my cannon friends; their pictures come out more vibrant then mine (the sony). When I ask why their pictures are "cooler" than mine; they say its because of their lens. It also may be because I have just started to figure out my Sony Camera. However, my pictures are a bit more detailed. But also there is so much you can do with this camera, it is almost difficult to figure everything out.

Can not be happier with this camera kit coming from several Alpha and RX100 models. It is light weight. Sharp (using the 50mm F1.8 and the 35mm F1.8) w/ beautiful bokeh, Fast startup .. fast focusing .. fast continuous shooting. The $20 Sony hotshoe adapter w/ my old Alpha flash works perfectly! Will try video out soon.

I have rheumatoid arthritis. This is a quality, small, light weight camera that I can handle. There is a learning curve with it and the wifi has a lot of steps. It takes great pictures. I printed out the manual and had it bound.

I purchased this after many weeks of researching what I want in a camera. Originally was going to purchase a DSLR, but after speaking with a BB employee at length who was also in photography, I decided to try the mirrorless. They like the 'chunky' feel of a DSLR, but was jealous of this camera. So far, I'm quite happy with the photos I've taken. There's so much to learn with manual settings, and am confident I'll learn as I go. I especially love the 'color effect' selection. I've included a couple of pictures in the review.

I don't miss my dslr camera at all with this camera! It's light weight, as a beginner, I love this camera. Worth the price point!

Very fast action for sports or animals! Very happy I made this purchase. Those that are into photography as a hobby will not be disappointed. You have to watch lots of YOUTUBE videos though for insider tips and tricks since cameras these days do not include pamphlets. Both kit lenses are better than expected. Incredible camera! I purchased the package deal coming with the extra lens and I do not regret it at all. Incredible price for the package and I would have even paid more for such a quality camera. The pictures it has taken so far are some of the best that I have ever taken with any camera I have ever owned. Definitely satisfied with my purchase and will be buying another lense to add to the collection soon!

This is an incredible camera. Within the first couple hours of having the camera I was taking incredible photos. I like the fact that you can share it onto your phone and your computer. It is unbelievable how clear and professional looking the photos are.

The A6000 is fast and easy to learn if you take the time to go to You Tube and watch the instruction videos. Documentation that comes with the camera is not good.

I finally upgraded from my Sony C3, I jumped on the steal of a deal for the extra lens and case. I do photography as a hobby and this camera has some great features such as downloadable apps and the ability to share photos directly with your smartphone via nfc or wifi, as well as using your phone as a lens trigger/viewfinder/controls. Camera has a great build quality, the telephoto lens it comes with is great too. What are you waiting for? just get it!

Great Bundle to get the beginner to intermediate photographers.

I bought this camera for my wife for Christmas. She had been wanting one for quite some time. I made her think she was not getting one this time around. When she opened it she was very surprised. She loved the great pics that it takes. The close up pics where so real and vivid. We are very pleased.

I'm hoping to get some great photos !! But ,,, still figuring out The Menu , , and Modes !! Should be easy ! The staff at Best Buy was super helpful! Just need to practice !

This camera is very easy to use and compact and portable. It focuses faster than any camera app ever had or used. You can do multiple shots back to back which is an amazing feature and also when you're recording a video it focuses on the people in the video which is pretty amazing.

Beautiful pictures . Worth the buy. Light , small easy to carry around

I was going in vacation to the far east and wanted a small camera with the capabilities and picture quality of my DSLR without all the bulk and weight. The Sony A6000 package really fit the bill. It is small, Light and easy to use. The pictures are great. I really liked the panorama setting for wide shots. Only two issues: 1.) Battery life was poor. You definitely want to purchase an extra battery and wall charger. I purchased two extra batteries and the wall charger and really used them a lot. 2.) A couple of times it seemed that the camera got really warm. Not sure what was going on. I just turned it off for a couple of minutes and it was OK. Never had any situations where it overheated and stopped working. I need to check into this to confirm this is a real issue. Even with these two issues the camera performed great and overall I am very pleased with it.
