IF you want simplicity this is a good camera. There are uncomplicated buttons that control on/off and wifi settings. IF you want GPS coordinates you will need to get the bundle that includes the monitor since the GPS unit is not built into the camera. After owning several actioncams including GoPro, JVC and Replay and an older AS100, this is easy to operate and very small. It has built in stabilization and a very clear video. IT does not have 4K video so this is only 4 star ratiing

Love it. It is very user friendly. Does require a lot of attachments. Could come with zoom and night vision.

The camera is great compare it to the go pro and I like it more. Unfortunately I had a sales person that really didn't know much more than I did. I was missed led that the waterproof case was the same as a gopro. Well he was wrong. Come to find out that it is rated for 16' and gopro over 100'. Good thing I went to look up the exact depth before I went over 16'.

Great action cam, has a small profile so I can mount it in tight places, I do track days and mount on the headlamp lens to get low shots of the laps, Image stabilization is excellent, battery life is good, I can get a whole day (4 x 30 min) sessions with out a recharge, and its very easy to operate, you cam see the record light even in bright sunshine, it can be controlled by a smart phone or the optional Sony remote,

IT IS A VERY GOOD CAMERA FOR USE IN OUTDOORS VERY GOOD IMAGE AND IS VERY EASY TO WEAR.

I bought it because it was cheaper than a go pro. It's smaller than other versions so more portable, you can buy a harness for dogs! The remote view is amazing, very nice image.

I bought this to take on my atv rides as an action camera. Works wonderful for both action/video and camera shots. I love the water proof case it came with. Would highly recommend you purchase this and save yourself some cash.

I bought this thinking it was a better alternative to the gopro. The stats were all better, had better picture stabilization, better frame rate etc. one major reason I purchased this was for scuba diving. It even comes with a blue filter for under water. However thew are NO cases that can be purchased that go deeper than the pool. There aren't even after market cases. The canara was great other than this. If you are staying on land, it's much better. If you plan to go under water sperms the few extra bucks for the gopro

Good video quality, stereo mic, waterproof case. battery life is just so so, you need to buy additional one.

I really enjoy how compact this camera is. The quality of the underwater videos is amazing thanks to the stabilizing feature. This is the second Sony action cam I have purchased.

this is perfect we are going camping and it will be tons of fun

The picture is as good as Hero 4 video quality is great I like optic stabilization this is something hero doesn't have it's sync perfectly with my cell phone

Smaller than I expected, has alot of good features and beats my older sony camcorder for ease of use and picture quality
